'The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive.'

'This property is beautifully quiet and calm. We ate outside on the picnic table and enjoyed watching the birds in the marsh. The sound of the breeze through the grasses and leaves were lovely. The clawfoot bathtub was also great to soak in.'

'We had an amazing time!! Hosts were incredibly responsive, the place was stocked with beyond anything we could have needed. Access to kayaks and paddle boards was special and so fun to be directly on the water. Our dog was also incredibly happy with all the exploring and swimming she got to enjoy. This place is a gem!'

'John was an absolute legend of a host. Always available to answer questions or give suggestions! The house is beyond well equipped with anything you could want for your stay, it truly felt like a vacation with the level of amenity and to-do on site. The location of the house is perfect to explore various different areas and attractions along the eastern shore, if you ever want to leave the property that is! We’ll absolutely be renting again!'

'The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. 'Our family stayed for a week at this amazing secluded property. We have stayed at many rentals up and down the Eastern Shore as well as the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The location was quiet and peaceful and the dock and screened in porch were where we spent most of our time. The screened in porch was a great spot to relax, eat meals, and play board games. 'Our stay was amazing. The cabin was exactly as described. 9 family member stayed at the cabin comfortably. The view of the lake was breathtaking, the property was quiet and inviting with plenty of space for celebrating. We came to attend the Crab and Cruise experience which was a short drive from tge property. The surrounding city was quaint and friendly.'
