Strandhotels in Java

'Heerlijke oase van rust. Wij zaten hier drie nachten, in combinatie met de Ijen tour. Het hotel bood alle faciliteiten om lekker tot rust te komen na de zware klim. Het restaurant was het enige minpunt. Dit lag met name aan de niet zo uitgebreide kaart en kleine porties. Wij zouden het hotel zeker aanraden.'

'We had an amazing (and too short) stay at Kunang Kunang tent resort. Welcomed very friendly, pick up and drop off arranged accordingly and had a lot of opportunities to explore but too little time. Food is very nice, got super room service with the welcome drinks and even a small present when we left. Would love to come again. Hopefully the tents will be kept well maintained until then! 'This was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was super-accommodating, helping me arrange a climb of Mt Ijen and transport. Though it was out of town, it was in a lovely location and still only a 30-minute walk to the beach, where there's a great lobster restaurant where you can lounge for the day by the beach. BB also had Wonderful espresso drinks with breakfast. Lovely touch. '
