Strandhotels in Jekyll Island

'Uitstekend gelegen hotel. Direct aan het strand, dat is top. Het hotel zelf kan wel wat liefde gebruiken. Het is verouderd. Kamers zijn ruim, en hebben prima voorzieningen. Wel gehorig, we hadden last van luidruchtige buren. Handig dat het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prima hotel als budgetvriendelijke optie. '

'Stayed for 2 nights, overall great hotel! They are pet friendly so you may hear a random dog every now and then, no biggie. We had lunch at the bar… not the best. They couldn’t get the cheese melted for my nachos so I picked a bbq sandwich instead… um, it wasn’t good. The meat was really loaded down with big pieces of chewy fat. My husband’s buffalo chicken strips were good though! They’re a bar, so the only nonalcoholic drink options were Coke and Diet Coke, that was fine. The staff are all...

'The location was great, was easy to get to all the area attractions. The room was neat, clean and comfy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Only thing that was upsetting. It was too cold to get into that fabulous pool!! The pool area was the nicest setup that we have encountered in all our travels. Thank you for a great week. '

'Extremely clean. Excellent location on the beach with a beautiful walking/biking path and heated pool. Only negatives: I didn't love the $30 nightly "resort fee". I would rather it be upfront/one price. 2) the $20 breakfast buffet was really awful 3) the front desk wasn't always manned. Regardless of the negatives, I would highly recommend. '

'10/10 stay! My family and I loved the location right on the beach, enjoyed the hot tub and warm pool, got to play old time arcade games, and had great food for breakfast and at the shore restaurant. The other attractions were all within a very short drive so we will definitely be coming back!'
