Nice boutique hotel, rooms are small, but enough for what we needed. Parking is an issue, if you come with a car.

A stay. One of the best hospitality we have experienced in Israel. The staff went out of their way to be helpful (with things like booking a taxi on Shabbat and getting aloe for a burn). The afternoon snacks and wine were a very nice touch. Yes the room is a bit small but still has enough room for 2 big suitcases. Was very clean. In contrast we stayed at a different “5-star property” in Jerusalem earlier in the trip where we had an awful stay re: staff and cleanliness. We would recommend this place. 10/10

Gute Lage und freundliches Personal, Leider hat das Hotel keine Parkplätze und die Suche nach einem Parkplatz kann viel Zeit kosten und dazu verursacht unnötige zusatzkosten. Eine Kunst Hotel das der Künstler so kreativ war und solche kleine Zimmer kreiert hat das es kein Platz für Koffer gibt!! Nur eine schmale Gang zwischen Wand und Bett!! Leider ist unsere Fazit das Hier sieht man das der Gier keine Grenzen hat!!

Hi Eliaou; We are delighted that you enjoyed our hotel's super location near to all that Jerusalem has to offer. The exact measurements of the rooms are stated clearly on all sites. We do have a number of parking lots within a block of the hotel at various rates. The majority of feedback that we receive is consistently positive and because of this, we are very surprised and sorry that your experience was the opposite. It is important to mention that your party consisted of 3 tourists ( including your wife) and yourself who is an Israeli citizen. According to the law in Israel tourists are exempt from VAT however all Israeli citizens must pay VAT. Your frustration that you were charged VAT was taken out against our staff, including threatening them that 'you will take revenge'. We, at Atlas Hotels strictly abide by the laws and will not exempt any Israeli guests from paying VAT ( a tax which goes directly to the government, does not stay with us). Your wife was so kind and we are thrilled that she enjoyed her stay and thanked our staff for their service. We appreciate her kind words very much. I really appreciate staff’s hospitality. I booked the room without breakfast. But they provided me complimentary breakfast considering my long flight from Japan and tiredness. In addition, my check in time was from 2 pm. But they also provided early check in. Thanks to their heartfelt hospitality, my stay was really good:) I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. And I’ll definitely stay here if I visit Jerusalem again! Thank you for all staffs and excellent property!

Great location for a solo stay in Jerusalem
I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers. The free happy hour in the evening provides enough food for a meal (which was really helpful during the week of Passover, when everything was closed!), and the front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly with recommendations for the nearby market. The hotel is in a great location, less than 10 minutes from the market and just under 20 minutes on foot from the Jaffa gate of the old city.

Well appointed hotel within walking distance to the Old City, dining, and shopping. The breakfast (which we paid to add on on one day) was excellent. Generous happy hour in the afternoon, and super helpful staff! The rooms were on the small side, but that is fairly typical in Israel and Europe.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the Old City (i.e. a cab ride cost 32 NIS/$8-9 US to the Jaffa Gate), with tons of dining options within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was clean; the breakfast was really lovely. Our room was just a room and the bath was a tad on the small size, but served us well because we were only in the room basically for sleeping. There is a parking garage just down the street a bit, which really was your only parking option. There's a little fenced courtyard which was quite pleasant for those days that ended early. It's a cute little boutique hotel and we would stay there again. (Only thing missing is a chair in the room ... that would be nice)

I have done a lot of traveling across the globe and it is exceedingly rare to find the level of service my wife and I found here. The communication, even before we checked in, was excellent. We stowed bags before our check in and were greeted warmly with tea & coffee (& chocolate). All questions were answered warmly and enthusiastically. I also enjoyed the happy hour as well as the set up of the hotel. Simply superb!

Fantastic hotel, great location great rooms bed very comfortable, Nespresso coffee in the room very helpful staff breakfast has so much choice free wine and snacks in the evening buy no beer which is a shame if you dont drink wine. celebrated my birthday and the hotel looked after us very well.

O hotel é simpático mas sujo, muito sujo. Vimos baratas na sala de café da manhã, o quarto estava congelando de frio e o ar quente não estava funcionando. O banheiro era sujo, tinham cabelos no ralo, carpete do quarto imundo, cama desconfortável, cortinas sujas e manchadas, não foi uma experiência agradável. Bem próximo tem um hotel Tryp by Windham que parecia muito melhor. De positivo posso falar da equipe que era muito simpática e atenciosa (coisa rara nessa região) e o hotel oferece um happy hour grátis com comidinhas e bebidas todo dia final da tarde.

Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. Gave us towels and water for our trip to Dead Sea, directions to go to the pub to watch World Cup soccer, called us a cab, had some chocolate in our room, nice evening reception with snacks and wine, etc. locations is close to walking streets and great outdoor market but a bit far from the old city if that is where u want to hang out though. Small rooms but we only needed to sleep there.

Очень хорошая гостиница, расположена идеально для городских прогулок. Можно пройтись пешком до старого города, музеев, рынка. Приветливый персонал, хорошие завтраки, "счастливый час" с вином и закусками вечером. Есть зонтики и велосипеды напрокат. Рекомендую.

The Bezalel has it all: Location, cool boutique style, comfortable modern rooms, excellent breakfast and a fabulous staff! The staff was more personal and attentive than those I encountered in more expensive hotels in other parts of Israel on this trip.

A wonderful place for exploring Jerusalem. The rooms are on the small size, but perfectly adequate for two persons. They come with all the standard amenities, and some extras like a small Shabbat treat waiting for us on Friday afternoon. The breakfast is top notch and a lovely happy hour makes for a nice way to end the day. The hotel is located within walking distance of most attractions including the Old City, Mahane Yehuda, the Israel Museum, etc. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay there again.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and happy hour were delicious! Location was super close to the action. Would definitely stay here again

Highly recommend this hotel
This hotel is fantastic! It is centrally located and walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The staff are super helpful and go above and beyond - they even arranged transportation for us. The rooms are very clean and breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel!
