'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. 'The manager Emilio was an amzing guy very friendly and wanting to help. The location is wonderful!The house is great, but it needs an update, the bathroom is bad. The house is back to basic, which is fine. But we hoped for a hammock or some lounging chairs outside and we thought the house was frontline, but it was the second house.'

Birds and sometimes monkeys and iguanas coming close.The next door hotel is not functioning, so the place is quite calm.Swimming in the Laguna is a incredible treat!Unfortunately 'La Giralda' really needs investment and renovation.The air conditioning is so noisy that it is impossible to use.
