'We stayed at this amazing property for a week in June and it was incredible. Beautiful home, beautiful location on the beach in a secluded cove, beautiful property and amazing weather! Even though it was the rainy season we had sun every day and a couple of big rain storms but that just added to the experience. Felipe was very communicative and the on-site caretakers Manuel and Maria kept the place spotless. Highly recommend this place. '

'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. 'We had a great time at Casa Faro! The casa and the views are both beautiful. It was immaculately clean (altho keep in mind you are in the tropics and bugs will always find a way in!) and well furnished. Check in with Gabriel was seamless once we found the house. It was a little tricky to find which house it was as we arrived in the dark (due to a flight delay) and during a big storm. Gabriel still met us with a smile on his face tho!
