More disappointed to know, there is no GEM appointed to our room. The front desk staff claimed that only villa guest will be entitled a GEM as there are more than 100 rooms in the property to cope with. 'I thought the hotel was in down town Chengdu. As it turned out it is 50km away. Google map make a mistake indicating the worng location.

'Rooms are large, well furnished and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, although I think might not have english speaking staff member that you might find in a large chain hotel.
Food is all made by the onsite chef, and while a bit limited in choice, is very tasty and not too expensive.
The only potential downside is that as a retreat type property, it isn't located in the nearby city. If you drove in your own car or rented car, then no issue. But the only easily walkable local...
