Antigua Villa met privézwembad en tuin

Welkom bij Villa Azure, een heerlijke villa met drie slaapkamers, privézwembad en airconditioning. De villa heeft zelfstandige faciliteiten met airconditioning, handdoeken en beddengoed, wekelijkse schoonmaakdiensten voor een verblijf van 14 dagen of meer, 24 uur per dag beveiliging. Omgeven door een weelderige tropische tuin.

De villa ligt op 25 minuten van de luchthaven van St. Johns en is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen. Dichtbij Jolly Beach 15 minuten lopen, met prachtige turquoise wateren en een prachtig zandstrand. Het is de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een ontspannen uitje op het prachtige eiland Antigua. Terwijl u weg bent, geniet u van de zon of ontdekt u de vele historische bezienswaardigheden van het eiland, zoals Nelsons Dockyard.

Een wandeling van 10 minuten naar de jachthaven van Jolly Harbour, de grootste kunstmatige jachthaven in het Caribisch gebied, ligt aan de zuidwestkust van Antigua. Er zijn verschillende bars en restaurants. Jolly Harbour heeft banken met geldautomaten, boetieks, kapper, een 18-holes golfbaan, olympisch zwembad, tennis- en squashbanen, evenals een van de mooiste stranden van het eiland. Excellent location on the Island with best beaches and attractions easily accessible. Also great if you don’t have a car and are open to public transportation or walking. We could walk to the beach and boat tour pick-up and many restaurants and grocery store in under 10minutes. Total luxury! To get to other main attractions we used taxis a few times.We traveled as family plus friends. We loved the house, the pool and convenience of proximity to everything. The house is in a quiet location. Don’t miss watching the stars at night. We also cooked at home and used the grill. Perfect stay!

We have stayed in this villa before and as usual it lived up to our expectations. The villa is fully stocked with everything you need and everything works - showers, air con etc. - which is not always guaranteed in the Carribean in our experience! Jan, the host, is always helpful and Iris, the Manager in Jolly Harbour, is always available for any assistance/advice necessary. The weather was glorious and the beaches sublime. Snorkelling was particularly good at Half Moon Bay and Dark Wood Beach. We would thoroughly recommend this villa and will be visiting again as soon as we are able. Thank you Villa Azure.

The location was great, walking distance to multiple restaurants, the grocery store, and ATM. The pool was perfect for a nice dip and the space was perfect for a family of 5. The AC was very much needed and helpful for a cool night sleep. It was quiet overall. Little things like better water pressure in the shower or a king bed would have been nice but not a deal breaker. We spent a lot of time not in the house exploring the island so it was great at a decent price.

The stay was amazing. The villa was very good but I think it needs a bit of touch up around the house. Starting with the master bedroom bathroom sink needs to be updated along with the furnitures I think a king size bed would be more of a good fit for the master bedroom. Maybe a fresh paint job inside and outside the house to give it a good lift But overall I think the stay was worth it.

Villa Azure is a wonderful place for a family vacation! Everything you needed was there. The house was very clean. The pool was cleaned weekly. Roxann the housekeeper was amazing. She was right there anytime we had a question or needed something. Had a wonderful time! We will be back.

Property was perfect for our needs. Lovely wee pool, not too far a walk from the beach or restaurants but nice and quiet. The management company was very fast in responding to any minor issues we had. The area surrounding the pool is a bit uneven but that would only really be an issue with people who're a little less steady / toddlers

Thank you Jan for allowing us to stay in Villa Azure for our second time. As before, we have thoroughly enjoyed our 'home from home' stay and love the improvements you have made since we last visited. The villa and location are perfect for everything - supermarket, restaurants and beach - all within walking distance. The villa itself is very comfortable with everything needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. However we did hire a car so that we could visit other parts of the Island. We hope to visit again in the future and once again many thanks.

We found MANY items either broken and or not working as we feel this Villa needs a lot of TL.C to bring it up to VRBO standard please see items below 1. Water pump failed and tank ran dry 2. Pool light not working and give shock 3. Pool filter cover broken tripped over several times 4. Pool net for cleaning leaf etc was broken 5. One A/C unit stopped working needed repairing 6, Wasing airier broken on one side and finally completely broke All though the property manager resolved some items not everything is in the villa booklet and she also promised to make it up to us and never did Regards Colin 15/04/2023

Très belle villa, service exceptionnel avec réponse très rapide durant le séjour. L’emplacement parcontre n’est pas ideal la route près de la villa est très mauvaise et comme comme la villa n’est pas à l’intérieur des limites de Jolly Harbour, il faut louer une voiture et non un golf cart. sinon, tout était parfait.

Beautiful property, better in person. The place was clean and check in and check out instructions were clear. Janice and the cleaning lady were lovely, communicated well and assistance was available when needed. Villa had all your needs (kitchen equipment, speakers, A/C, fans, blow dryer, towels, basically anything you may have needed). Quiet neighborhood, easily accessible, near the beach and multiple restaurants/bars, gas and police station in the area.

The villa/location & amenities very good. Villa has everything you need ,we stayed 3 weeks , had few issues that were fixed very quickly. The property manger Iris is where the property has its down fall. Firstly I had to reminder her the day before we flew that we needed the access code to the villa if I hadn't then we would not have got in. The only way you could contact her was by Watts app , she DOES NOT respond to emails. So make sure you have that App. We never actual met Iris , but Amie who works with her we met alot. Poor on Iris,s behalf. Apart from that we had a fantastic stay , locals really friendly.

The villa is as described but needs updating. If you’re looking for privacy this is not the best option as people will randomly show up at the gate. The road is terrible so be sure rent an SUV. We did not see the property manager before or after checkout but received very unprofessional random messages about stuffed toilets and doing us favors by extending our checkout. I’m guessing most of the guests are first time renters to this villa, we will not return.

This property was perfect for the vacation we were looking for. We were not looking for an all inclusive vacation as we wanted to experience the real Antigua. The location was central for exploring. We stuck to the south and west of the island. Restaurants, beach and grocery store are in walking distance. We had 4 of us but the villa would easily house 6 as it suggests. The house is well kept and had everything we needed for the week. The air conditioning was great. We turned it off when not needed and it cooled quickly when we turned it on. The pool is a perfect temperature for cooling off and was very clean. Nice breeze on the patio. The road leading to the villa is very bumpy but we got used to it. Being on a side road there are very few cars.

Lovely spacious open plan lounge, diner & kitchen. Very quiet area which is lovely for relaxing stay. There is a large steel structure which is abandoned close by but don't let it put you off. It does not and should not affect your trip. There are a couple of minor niggles that need updated but otherwise perfect, reflected in price compared to neighbouring villas. Management fast to respond and when had issues they were resolved promptly. I would stay again as know what to expect, all I'd say is if you want luxury it's not for you!

We could not fault anything about the Villa or how it was maintained and managed. We loved the wild life you could see and those that visited. We felt very much at home and free to enjoy everything. The local restaurants and bars, plus being able to walk to the beach was great.

Just returned from 17 nights at this villa with my wife and dear friends. This is a wonderful place to spend your time in Antigua. It is well appointed with everything you need, clean & tidy, car parking space and gardens surrounding the property. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of wardrobe & draw space. When not out exploring the beautiful Island you will spend most of your time on the veranda and decking area with plunge pool. Situated on the outskirts of Jolly Harbour (beach 20 min walk) in St Mary’s it is close to supermarket and a number of good restaurants. The road to the villa is severely pot holed so if driving you need to take your time. The owner Jan responds promptly to emails and the local management company are on hand should you have any issues during your stay.

what a fantastic place. Yes, the property needs a little sprucing up; yes the road to drive to the property has more potholes than you can imagine so you have to drive slowly; but overall this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Jan, the owner, and Iris, who manages the property for her, and so helpful. Sid, who does the garden and pool, lives round the corner, and also has useful advise, and Roxanne did a great job at cleaning mid-holiday. Sitting on the deck for breakfast is perfect; or staying cool in the pool in the afternoon is bliss. Easy walk down to the Marina for choice of restaurants (hint, walk up the hill a few yards, and through the Harbour building and then the gardens if you want to stay off the road). Our trip was rescheduled twice due to Covid so firstly, the owner has been superb throughout and ever so patient. The property was ideal for us, a group of 5/6 adults from UK, with hire cars. If you want to explore, then Jolly Harbour is the best location by far. All the nicest beaches are nearby, great location for nipping to supermarket, nice refreshing pool, and Jolly Beach is the best beach in my opinion too (4 minute drive/15 minute walk). The villa itself was great - love the layout, everything was clean, comfy, light, in good nick, decent wifi too, easy to locate, fine to park your car in the drive, and a kind welcome pack left by the owner. The manager contacts you on Whatsapp and everything is made easy for you. If we return, I would definitely get the same villa. Highly recommend!

This was our second villa during our 2 week stay and this was by far the nicer one. It felt homely, was clean and modern and well equipped. The pool is small but great to cool off but not too cold! Great location to use the facilities of Jolly Harbour, we loved the food at West Point down on the harbour, look at the blackboard menu, everything we had was delicious and fresh We had a car so was able to see a lot of the Island. The roads are in a terrible state in a lot of places with so many pot holes so allow extra time for journeys. We visited Boom hotel - fab food, use all the amazing facilities whilst overlooking English Harbour. Shirley Heights great fun make sure you book Swam with the Stingrays, bit shorter trip than we thought but amazing to be so up close to them. Horse riding on the beach - was amazing So many beaches to visit they are all beautiful Jan was fantastic prior to our holiday and helped us so much answering lots of COVID questions, nothing was too much trouble. The people we met in Antigua were friendly and we walked quite a lot around Jolly Harbour and always felt safe. If you are a light sleeper take ear plugs as the tree frogs keep singing all night! This is nothing to do with the villa, they are everywhere! We had an amazing holiday and loved the villa and would definitely return.
