"Hotel in hoofdstraat, bij winkels en restaurants en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Ontbijt is geweldig en bij vroeg vertrek krijg je een ontbijtpakket mee. Kamer(familiekamer) ruim met balkon en ruime badkamer met douche. Uitzicht op binnenplaats en deel stad. Kamertemperatuur goed te regelen. Prima bedden. Inpandig restaurant (niet van hotel zelf) en Starbucks. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op loopafstand van busstop 9 en 12 voor tours. "

"We stayed one night in a double room without a private bathroom. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the heart of downtown Reykjavik. The room itself was spacious and met our basic needs, except for one major issue: there were someone else’s hairs on the bed, which was quite off-putting. However, the shared bathrooms and toilets were truly awful. We didn’t expect a luxury place, but we did expect a reasonable level of cleanliness and maintenance. One of the bathroom doors couldn’t even close properly due to a warped frame. One toilet was broken, another was clogged, and the hairdryer and kettle were both out of order. In short: while the room was acceptable, the shared bathroom facilities were a nightmare and seriously affected our overall experience."

"Bij dit hotel zit je midden in het centrum zonder dat het gehorig is. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer die erg schoon was. Binnen 5 minuten ben je bij busstop 14, van waaruit je alle transfers neemt naar excursies, het vliegveld etc. Er is een bar in het hotel, daar miet je wel direct afrekenen. Ontbijt is oké, maar er is niets warms, dus ook geen omelet of toast. En niet echt variatie. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in IJsland."

"Hotel is very good, very well maintained, nice rooms. Two downsides: You have to use the elevator, there are no stairs, except dor emergencies. At night it is very loud from outside with partying people. If you sleep with open windows, you have a challenge to fall asleep. "

"Ik vond het hotel okay. Locatie was goed. Bedden okay. Ontbijt was prima. Geen Netflix. Met storm en binnen zitten zijn er geen opties,drie zenders. Voor 4* toch onder de maat. Betaald parkeren."
