Deze ruimte is een vredige en rustige 2 slaapkamer. Deze prachtig ingerichte en huiselijke 2 slaapkamer bevindt zich in de Keauhou Punahele-gemeenschap. Keauhou Punahele is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen. Gelegen naast een golfbaan en op korte loopafstand van de baai, is deze locatie rustig en perfect voor mensen die willen ontspannen. We bieden ook een zwembad en een spa / hot tub. De twee slaapkamers zijn volledig gevuld voor u en uw gezin met queensize bedden en een extra luchtbed voor kinderen. 1 parkeerplaats is inbegrepen, met voldoende parkeergelegenheid op straat indien nodig. We bieden een ruime woonkamer en eetkamer voor het hele gezin om van de vakantie te genieten. Deze locatie is rustig maar toch perfect gelegen in Kona. U kunt in alle rust genieten van Kona.

    Unit was old and in need of renovation, i.e. we were afraid to use the extra shower, carpets were dirty, problems with gnats/bugs, light/fan, wifi and phone. Paul was responsive and pool was nice. However, I ended up staying with relatives the last few days as I did not like the unit.

    Great location; great amenities

    Spent a week at the condo for both work and play. Close to the action of downtown Kailua-Kona but far enough for some peace and quiet. Kudos to the owner, Paul, for being very responsive and for providing everything you will need for your stay. The welcome gift was a particularly nice touch. Will definitely stay here again.

    Love the place... just needs some adjustments

    Love the place but the carpet was very filthy, it should be steam cleaned each time property is rented. My feet was sticky and dirty like I was walking on cushiony dirt, we had to wash our feet before going to sleep avoiding a filthy bed. More roach traps are needed in the kitchen because at night it is loaded with roaches. Need another air conditioner installed in living room to keep cool because it is too hot. The hedges directly in front of unit was too tall, blocking the cool breeze. The ceiling fan in master bedroom was squeaking and moving out of control as if it was gonna break and fall on us. Too bad the pool was closed the entire time of our stay. One of the worst part was having pest control come and spray inside the unit while we were there, not to mention how rude the property manager was, who accompanied the pest control worker. She did not say "Good Morning ", like he did. She just gave an attitude like we don't belong there. She needs help. An attitude adjustment would be nice. We felt as if she was racist. But straight up rude. She needs to manage the property not the people. She is not doing a great job because everything is being hidden. Like the termite infested railings are just painted over. Once you touch it, it breaks because it's hollow. The ramps are falling apart and the building is just deteriorating. Poor property management, she needs to be replaced immediately. She has a bad vibe. Very Negative. No Aloha whatsoever! Please don't take it personal but if all these adjustments are met, it would be a very awesome place to enjoy. Our host Paul was awesome. We hope to come back one day with all these adjustments and hope to get a discount next time for the bad experience we had to deal with.

    Okay but there were some issues

    Paul’s communication with us was great leading up to the trip. During the rental I texted him a couple times but never got a reply. The unit appeared clean when we arrived. After a couple days we noticed stains in the high traffic areas of the carpet. There were a number of small lizards that stopped by during our visit, many more outside so that is probably to be expected. We had to kill a number of cockroaches in the kitchen during our visit. The unit is on the bottom floor and there is a large hill directly next to the bedroom side of the unit so there is little to no air flow. There were 2 portable a/c units in the bedrooms but in order for them to function well they should have been hooked up to some sort of drain. They were not, so they struggled to keep the unit comfortable. There is no cellular signal in the unit so we had to rely solely on the Wi-Fi of the unit. There is a pool but when we went there, our kids were told they could not do anything more than just float quietly in the water by the full time residence that were there. Overall we would stay in a different place next time we visited.

    Location: great location for Kona area, we walked to Keauhou Bay area, and sports like Night time Manta Ray @Sea Paradise departure was walkable distance. Also Kona downtown area, Magic Sand Beach etc was 10-15 minutes. and Two Step (Snorkeling) /Captain Cook was also similar distance towards south.  Had plenty restaurants within 15 minutes which suited our needs.  Host/Property Manager:  very responsive, great communication, made sure that we are all set and had a welcome note for us.  Property: Great property for a family of 4. has an open verandah for sipping morning Tea. both Bedrooms had AC. For Living area, we opened both sliding doors and got fresh breeze. Washer / Dryer well set for the needs. saw some tiny roaches, but that's not uncommon in that area.  Would definitely consider to stay again.

    Perfect Condo

    This condo was perfect for me, my husband and 2 young kids. The backyard grass area and open floor plan made us all feel so comfortable. Our host, Paul, was quick to respond to a few questions we had during our stay and was helpful and friendly. There is an amazing golf course within walking distance or about a 2 minute drive from the condo, and about 10-15 mins from the downtown area. We will definitely stay here again!

    The unit was located in a lovely setting overlooking the golf course. Very serene and private. It was light and bright and comfortable. The manager Paul was responsive to our needs. We will stay again.

    Hot and Humid - Beware of Large Spiders

    Upon arrival at the airport, we received a message that we could not use one of the showers until 5 pm the next day because the previous guest had broken the drain. So four adults had to take turns using one shower. After flying for over 11 hours from Florida this was annoying. Not to mention that ALL the towels in the condo were still wet, but folded up and hung up as if they were dry. On addition to ALL the sheets on both beds were wet as well. The owner did refund us half the cleaning fee for the wet laundry and nothing for the inconvenience of only having the use of one shower. We also had to contact the owner for an iron which was delivered that night. Since the inside of the condo is super humid (NO central air conditioning, no wall units, nothing to cool off the livingroom/kitchen/dining room areas but two celing fans), however there are 2 very loud portable air conditioning units in each bedroom that are attached to the windows znd sit on the floor, just make sure that you bring ear plugs to get a restful sleep. Considering the humidity we decided to sit outside to try to cool off. Be aware that there are NO chairs to sit outside on the lanai. We again contacted the owner, he said that there were none. So, we went to Walmart and bought some folding bag chairs. When we returned the neighbor told us that they would let us use some of their chairs and to return the ones we bought. The said its a shame and the owners needs to purchase chairs for their renters to use. The carpet in the dinning room NEEDS to be cleaned as it has turned dingy dirty grayish black in the most walked on areas. There are no large serving/cooking spoons and some of the pots/pans/wok were so dirty we refused to use them. Inside the master bedroom closet was a giant spider. We sprayed it with bug spray, but that didn't work. We hit it with two different hard shoes several times before we finally killed it. I wish there was a place to upload pictures so I can show future renters.

    The property is a little walk from the bay, with a pretty view of the sunset and sunset clouds (though does not see the sun as it goes down over the water). The owner is extremely gracious and helped us with a small issue we had. The pool is great for kids and the hot tub is great for adults. We really enjoyed our stay. You have to have a car to enjoy this spot. There are a few places within walking distance but mostly it was a great base to come back to. Two lovey bedrooms and a comfy air mattress. They had a pack-n-play and a high chair we didn’t use. They had beach towels. The kitchen was stocked with basic utensils and dishes and cooking equipment so it was nice to be able to cook. Also they have a laundry in the unit.

    Immaculate, beautiful and spacious…

    This unit is very clean, bright and inviting. The view out the lanai is beautiful. The beds and seating were all very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more. Everything about the condo is home. They’ve gone above and beyond to make this space comfortable and cozy. Best unit I’ve stayed in in all of Hawaii, I would definitely stay here again.
