This resort was located within 5 min with a tuktuk to restaurants while still being located in beatifull and peacefull surroundings. I stayed in one of their cheaper rooms with just a fan and this was more then enough for me but they do also have ac options. Possibly i missed a little fridge to cool drinks but overall this was way more then I expected for the price! Staff friendly, well english spoken and helpfull. I loved it here:)

Leuk hotel
Leuk hotel! Twee zwembaden, 1 zout en 1 chloor. Lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel. Het is bij mooi weer een prachtige plek alleen wij hadden veel regen en dus stond alles onder water. Een Khmer huis zou ik niet aanbevelen voor een gezin van 4. Het is erg krap en er is geen kast om spullen in op te bergen of op te hangen.

A nice and quiet location outside of Kampot but just not too far outside - short ride back in town. Staff super accommodating and friendly. Located on the Kampot river, property units nicely spaced out for enough privacy. When coming back to Kampot we will definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful and calm place with a beautiful pool and lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Really relaxing just to stay here and swim and go to the pool, have a drink and eat the delicious food, or only a half hour walk from town if you fancy a lively time.

Parfait pour un séjour court. Le personnel est super sympa, les deux piscines et le grand jardin parfaits. La vue sur la rivière superbe. La chambre que nous avions (une des moins chères) était tout à fait convenable malgré l’absence de placard et quelques petits mal fonctionnements (pas bien gravés) — on a passé beaucoup de temps sur la petite terrasse devant la. Hombre. Un peu loin du centre (ce que nous savions) donc nous avons loué des vélos en ville (aucun des vélos de l’hôtel n’était en état). On a pris un lunch sur place: délicieux! Un peu désuet, mais bon rapport qualité prix. On reviendrait avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente.

Our go-to in Kampot
This is our go-to property in Kampot. Far enough out of downtown to be quiet, but close enough to walk or a short tuk tuk ride (we drive our own vehicle). The riverside location is beautiful, they have a great staff, restaurant, and a variety of room/house options.

It was a beat set of rooms and cottages, very quiet and right by the river. 2 pools and staff very accommodating. From drinks to meals to renting a scooter.

Highly recommended. Very personal service. Location about two miles from Kampot, quiet and family oriented. Bicycles need to be serviced or replaced.

Villa Verdici is a beautiful place. If you booked the room wt river view, the view was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and easily appproachable. The only negative I have is the weak water pressure in the shower

There is no vaccine for business - so this property made it through the pandemic by good management practices. The needed upkeep (painting & landscaping) were underway so the hotel is recovering nicely. We will certainly return - rent a scooter to get into town and then enjoy coming back out of the center to a peaceful & serene location.

We always have a great time at Villa Vedici! Food is great, portions good and price fair. 2 swimming pools so the kids can splash and make noise in the salt water pool (with slides!) and not disturb the other guests. Room comfortable (comfort double) and clean. We will be back.

Peaceful and beautiful location by the river
The rooms are ok: clean but old, nothing luxurious but fare pricing. Pool is great: deep and warm water, not hot. Only ate breakfast, it was ok but nothing amazing. Friendly staff. You can rent kayaks and scooters for a fair price, and borrow a bicycle. Peaceful location by the beautiful river, from where its good to cycle or ride to town for all amazing restaurants and cafes.

Hotel bien placé face au fleuve avec 2 piscines pourrait être excellent. Salle de bain mal éclairée, difficultés de communication avec le personnel peu avenant. Refus de nos billets de 20 dollars. Choose your room carefully
Not all the rooms are great, Steer clear of room 9 and 10. They are in a passage way so you have to keep your drapes closed at all times. Photos of the rooms were not the same as reality. Hotel was full so we had to stay in room 9 for several nights before we could transfer to a pleasant room. Price was reduced but still 20$ per night more, at this price point I would have looked at other hotels. Lovely setting along the river, amazing sunsets. Our friend was in river view and it was a good room.

Service déplorable. Propreté à revoir. Le cadre est très sympa, vraiment mais la chambre est vieille, sans aucun confort, c’est sale. Nous avions la chambre 8 à côté du bar et du restaurant. Nous n’avions aucune intimité. La salle de bain sent mauvais. La TV est présente mais utilisable uniquement avec DVD. L‘ établissement a un gros potentiel mal exploité.

Bien, mais.....
Pas de problème quant à la qualité de la prestation hôtelière. Par contre, nous avons rencontré deux incidents liés à la location de scooters par le biais de l'hôtel. Ces incidents étaient du fait du loueur mais notre 1er interlocuteur ne l'a pas envisagé sous cet angle et il a fallu l'intervention d'un autre manager pour que la question se traite immédiatement, sans aucun problème. C'est dommageable pour cette structure hôtelière.

I enjoyed my stay and it was a reasonable value. I had booked the cheapest room they have, and the AC did not cool the room below about 26C/78F. The food was good and the service was almost always excellent. For example, when I asked for a stopper for the sink, they couldn’t provide one, but within 30 minutes the handyman had changed the sink drain to a new style with a built-in stopper. The local staff spoke adequate English and there were a couple of foreign staff during the day. My only complaint was at the end of my stay, when the driver the hotel arranged did not arrive at 5am as scheduled to take me to the airport. Reception is closed overnight, and it took me 45 minutes to persuade the night watchman to phone an English speaker. By the time the driver arrived at 6:30am, it was too late to catch my flight. Then the driver refused to take me to Phnom Penh, where I could have caught a mid-day flight. When they daytime staff came on duty later in the morning, they were as helpful as they could be, but I still had no option but to buy another, last-minute plane ticket to get to Vietnam. PassApp moto rickshaws were great for getting back and forth to town.

Très belle localisation
Relativement déçus. Les chambres ne sont pas bien entretenues. Je ne parle pas du nettoyage mais de la maintenance. Le resort aurait besoin d un lifting. Il manquait des serviettes à la piscine chaque jour. La manager est très dévouée et fait tout ce qu elle peut, je ne dirais pas la même chose des autres membres du personnel. L expérience dans cet hotel dépendra de la chambre qui vous est octroyée. Préférez les chambres en bord de rivière. Le petit déjeuner n est pas compris. Bravo à la manager qui est sur tous les fronts.

Bon accueil, Superbe endroit certes les bateaux de pêche passent tôt mais personnellement je trouve que ça colle très bien avec le cadre! Et pure spot pour le sunset !!! Par contre ne pas y manger !! C’est cher et pas terrible...

Sprawling Resort
Villa Vedici is a beautiful resort situated next to a river. The owner and the staff there were amazingly friendly and responsive to our every need. The in-house restaurant served a good spread of international and local food, snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices that we ate all our meals there. On the whole, the room was comfortable. Just a couple of minor observations - weak water pressure for the shower, sound/music from outside could be heard (quite early in the morning, maybe from a nearby temple), Wi-fi signal while strong, was unstable. There are no TV channels as the TV is meant for watching DVDs available from the library near reception. Just as well, VV is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle & bustle and just chill out with friends! There are lots of optional activities like kayaking, fishing etc to make the stay here very exciting.
