'Check-in was very simple, the property very clean and the host very helpful over the phone. We arrived late in the evening and it was so wonderful to arrive to the suite with the pullout bed made up already and a beautiful bottle of Prosecco and two glasses set out. We felt so very welcomed. A great location and a classy set up. '

'We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. 'Hotel lag in een troosteloze straat maar wel vlakbij de boulevard. De gemeenschappelijke ruimtes waren typisch Engels en gedateerd maar wel sfeervol. Onze kamer was klein, zeer sober en ook gedateerd. Het Engelse ontbijt was wel prima. Dat maakte veel goed. En het personeel was aardig.'
