'I would highly recommend this hotel for families who want to be a quieter neighborhood but within very close proximity and walking distance to the action of the Gion district. We normally stay at 4-5 star hotels, but seeing how most hotel rooms in Japan have a max of 3 people per room, I decided to try something different and booked an Executive Apartment which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenagers). At first I was a bit concerned about staying at a hotel without an official front desk,...

'This is one of the best places me and my partner have stayed at and one we will be coming back to the next time we are in Kyoto. From the moment we arrived Keiko provided us with exceptional service. We asked her for a recommendation for katsu and she suggested a spot on the Michelin guide. We realized it was about to close for the afternoon and without hesitation she called the restaurant and we were able to have the best meal of our whole trip.'

'The check at reception a friendly lady helped us very well to check in. The only advice I have is to clean a little better the room (some places are a bit dusty in the appartment). I can recommend this place for anybody else. Everything is close by, rent a bike, bike to the temples or visit the market which is a walking distance from Minn Sanjo. '

'We didn't get to stay here long but it was a very pleasant stay. We got one of the suites and it was well worth it. The kids had their own room and it was nice to spread out. They had a washwr and dryer with detergent provided. The free water, coffee and drinks were very nice touch. Would come back again. '

'Great hotel with a distinct serenity - a tree and reflecting pool in the hotel courtyard, a zen garden next to reception, shogi screens and a natural wood soaking tub in the room. In a great location, steps away from the covered outdoor shopping areas. Add in the washing machine/dryer on each room and you have a winner. Would definitely stay again!'

'Nuestra estancia fue muy placentera, en la recepción Gin (espero escribirlo bien) , fue sumamente amable, el hotel ofrece rastrillos, cepillos de dientes, y ligas de cabello, lo cual fue muy práctico. Caminando hay dos tiendas de conveniencia muy cerca, estaciones de metro y camiones también en menos de 10min caminando. Sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar ahí.'

'Dejligt rummeligt værelse med to enkeltsenge og en sovesofa. Eget køkken og fint bad med bruser. Alt i fantastisk stand. Hotellet virker helt nyt. Stedet har en rigtig fin placering med let adgang til Gion, metro, restaurant-områder mv. Ok vaskefaciliteter, som dog er lidt begrænset og den ene af to vaskemaskiner virkede kkke. Ind og udtjekning er via tilsendt kode og qr, men der er venligt og hjælpsomt personale tilstede på hotellet. Vil klart anbefale stedet. '

'This is our second stay at this wonderful establishment. The staff is the best I have come across and the apart hotel room is spacious, clean, and makes my family and I feel like a local. Good and new hotel

"We have a room with a little bit more space then the room of our friends at the same floor. The hotel is quite new. There are enough USB charging points in the room. Unfortunately the USB at my bed side was not working. The breakfast is quite good, Enough Japanese and western food to choose. Location is good, 1 stop from Kyoto train station and walking distance to the center"

Een hotel dicht bij Kyoto station.

"Een hotel dichtbij het station. Kamers voor het oog schoon maar bij het openen van de kast dwarrelde het stof naar beneden. In 1 kamer werkte de airco niet goed maar een kamerwisseling was niet mogelijk. Voor het zwembad en de fitness moet je extra betalen."
