Whatever was in their means, staff met my request, even creating a relaxed atmosphere so I could leave in time and as relaxed as possible. '

A bit easier than feeding the horses when this was the Kings Arms Coaching Inn and an important stage coach stop. 'Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. '
