'Nice space, perfect soaking tub, two fire pits! Grill and pizza oven. We enjoyed peaceful star filled evenings. Quiet nights and baby deer running around in the mornings. Local goat sanctuary is a must for a hike with the goats. Reasonably close hikes, to waterfalls and swimming holes, check if you need a permit, the water was ice cold at first, perfect for the weather, we spent a while there, then back for some grilling!We enjoyed the stove and record collection. 'First of all, very impressed with everything provided in the cabin pretty much everything we can think of was already there so we definitely overpacked.. The property was amazing crossing down into the river in the backyard with the fire ring was especially a very cool experience. The big side property was great for a little wiffle ball game with my nephew…. Close by down the road was a nice hike to the fire tower. Overall, an excellent experience. Big plus on Wi-Fi since there’s zero cell...

'Booked a weekend stay to check out the beacon area. Was pleasantly surprised how such a small cabin had everything you would need for a small getaway. Hosts eveven provides snacks and coffee, though my plus 1 and I didn’t need any. Cable tv and WiFi and an/c included. Everything was clean and neat. Loved that it was within 15 min driving from beacon main st, dia, Ben marl winery and some hike trails which was all on my weekend agenda.Highly recommended! '

"Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. "
