'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'This facility was like a little fairy tale cottage. We loved it! There was a fire pit with plenty of wood and kindling provided and hammocks in the trees for relaxing and reading. Definitely recommend for an option far more unique than a chain hotel.'

'Diane is quick to respond to questions and the house was perfect for a quick get away. Location is perfect for visiting Stonewall and Fredericksburg. Exploring the back roads will lead you to some pretty amazing wineries and gorgeous sights of the hill country. One quick thing. 'Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! 'Absolutely loved our stay at Zannabella! We originally booked for one night but it was so spectacular we were fortunate to be able to book another cabin for an additional night. The owners are so warm and kind they make you feel at home and are by far the most attentive and available hostess we have ever experienced in all our B & B stays. 'The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping.'

'The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

'Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
