The location is great. The place is in need of a deep clean and an update. The pictures are a bit deceiving on what you are getting. I arrived late at night and once inside found myself walking through several cobwebs. I'm guessing that was from the resident spider that mostly kept to himself in the bathroom during my stay.

We thought this was a great spot to be in Kehei! Walk north, walk south, never need to go too far to reach your desired destination!! The condo was pleasant, Tricia was right there when I needed her (via the app). Wish we had longer than the week.

Convenient and cozy home at Maui

I love this cozy and comfortable home for vacation, this vacation apartment has washer/dryer and dishwasher are the most important things I like to have in my daily life. All kitchen supplies are so nice and convenient. Nevertheless, this is the 2nd time in life for me to stay in private home for vacation. Both are impressive….

We loved our stay at Tricia's condo. The location is fantastic with so many stores, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. The condo had everything we needed including boogie boards and snorkeling gear.

Good value, needs more care

This is a humble but cute little apartment with great location. The kitchen is well stocked, there's beach toys in the cabinet, and the dual AC is great. While I appreciate the great value, I do think the standard of care need to be increased. I'm not the pickiest with how clean a space needs to be, but the rental was definitely not cleaned appropriately before our arrival. There was dirt, leaves, and dead bugs all over the floor throughout, and heavily accumulated behind the doors. The quilt and shams were noticeably dirty and hasn't been washed recently. The shower and adjacent cabinet had spiders, with lots of old dead bugs. The walls in the bedroom were dingy and grimy. The turnover clean needs to be improved and the full place needs a deep clean + repaint. We had to vacuum the entire place upon arrival and change the blanket on the bed. This is poor service, even for the low price, especially with the additional cleaning fee charged. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with a family, this could be a good fit. Especially if newer reviews show the cleaning has improved. But I have to warn for those with allergies: my sinuses acted up every time we came back to the apartment. Not sure if from mold, dust, bugs, or what. I was congested every night, which disappeared when we went outside. So someone with sensitive allergies should not stay here.

We had never stayed at a VRBO in Maui (our first visit actually) and it turned out to be the best spot. Loved the privacy of the end unit with garden area. Words cannot convey how grateful we were to Tricia for accommodating our family last minute with the fires in Maui - something VRBO doesn't offer naturally - but she responded immediately to my desperate plea after our flights were cancelled. Tricia was SO responsive and kind - checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we need - and how she could help the people of Maui. We walked all around Kihei - everything was convenient and accessible - beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and markets. Thank you Chiariello Family!

Nice place to stay. Convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Just one negative is the bathroom. The shower is pretty small and we’re not big people; possibly needs updating. Being in the 2nd building, the location is pretty quiet. The geckos were pretty loud though.

Beautiful grounds & complex. Bldg. 2 corner unit away from street noise, exactly as stated in description. Queen bed in bedroom on the small side, but comfortable. Beautiful blinds in unit, however still allows light into unit at night when closed. A/c is a plus!

Nice location, cleanliness issues

The unit smelled strongly of bleach/cleanser when we arrived, but when we went to bed, found that the light comforters smelled of body odors. We took them both to a nearby laundromat to wash and dry them; this cost was over $15 but it was worth it to us since we were there for a week. When using the sofa bed, we found it was filthy underneath when one of the cushions fell into it and onto the floor; big dust bunnies, mud and dirt. Under the bed was also dirty, so we made sure not to drop anything. The owner was aware that the miniblinds were broken and couldn't be lowered for privacy (the gardener startled us twice when he showed up on the lanai) but she didn't warn us until I contacted her about the dirty bedding and blinds. Although she apologized she did nothing to compensate for our efforts to clean our own bedding. The kitchen had most necessities, but the air conditioners are old and inefficient. I cannot recommend this place despite the location close to the beach (5 minute walk).

We really liked the comfort and location of this unit. It was truly a home away from home. Every need that we had during our stay was provided for, from a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, cookware and dinnerware to a washer and dryer, comfortable bed and beach amenities. Access to the unit was the closest to the parking lot and although the hallway entrance is shared with another unit it was very private and secure. A short walk or drive from the unit gave us access to the beach, shops, grocery stores and restaurants.

Completely equipped condo style living. Everything to be comfortable inside from dishwasher to washer dryer etc. table & chairs inside and out. Ground floor with plants in front making it totally private. Lovely furnishings well supplied beach chairs, umbrella, etc etc. Ten min from an amazing beach. Highly recommend.
