'Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. 'The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant.'

'Prima locatie, goede kamer en dito service en ontbijt! Prijs-kwaliteit is eveneens goed. De ontbijtzaal was wel wat krapjes voor het aantal aanwezigen en 's avonds laat deed de douche het helaas niet (probleem bleek 's morgens een elektriciteit-stop, was toen wel snel verholpen). Toch zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'

'Aangenaam hotel met mooie rustige kamers. Alleen volgende min puntjes: Ontbijtbuffet en diner was lekker alleen liep er bij beide iets fout. Daardoor moesten we te lang wachten. Ontbijtbuffet werd niet voldoende en te laat aangevuld. De receptioniste was koel en weinig behulpzaam.'

'Not a single complaint. Has everything you need and everything is clean and new. Loads of character and really comfortable.'

'This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...
