'Pleasantly surprised upon entering house. The home was very clean and linens/beds ready for use. The location is excellent for activities slightly north of Edinburgh. The walking trail across the street even offers some historical plaques about the area! Quiet neighborhood.'

Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. '

'We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cottage. The (almost) private beach is very easy to reach via a field and there is absolute peace and quiet - great for relaxing. Helen & Ross are great hosts with lots of tips for exploring the surrounding area.'

'The house is old from the outside but inside it's roomy and modern. With double bedrooms and double bathrooms even a double pair (or kids with own needs) can be accomodated. There are even busstops around the corner (<1 minute walk) though not that frequent. We were glad to have a car with us, enjoying our own parking spot at the house. 'Had a wonderful Grad- Birthday here with family and two small dogs. Courtyard garden and side garden fully enclosed. Cottage well kitted out with kitchen utensils etc. Gillian and Michael excellent hosts and phoned before we arrived during and when leaving to ensure all was going well. Lovely thoughtful welcome back of croissants and shortbread. Just what was required after a long journey. Would highly recommend as beautiful walks around estate all mainly on the flat. Central to all locations...
