'Vlak voor onze aankomst kregen wij bericht dat de schoonmaakster die ochtend door een ongeluk niet kon komen. We hebben toen zelf schoongemaakt. De eigenaar heeft ons daarvoor 50 pounds terugbetaald. Vandaar de matige score bij "netheid" De woning is mooi groot en gelegen op de 1e etage met een moderne keuken en drie slaapkamers met prima bedden. Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer en slaapkamers is prachtig. De woning ligt vlak bijzet centrum van Rothesay, de grootste plaats op Bute. Dat eiland is...

'Lovely space very well finished and clean as a whistle . I think we might have been the first in so very new property which offers five suites in the one building The kitchen facilities include kettle, toaster and coffee machine so no opportunity to heat anything. I think a microwave would be great addition for those of us who love porridge for breakfast 😋 Some building work going on next door but this doesn’t affect internal space experience. '

'De omgeving van de cottage en het verblijf hebben we als heel fijn ervaren. Je hebt daar alles wat je nodig hebt , alles is op loopafstand en wil je dingen in de buurt bezichtigen kun je heel gemakkelijk rondkomen met het openbaar vervoer. De rust, stilte en uitzicht heeft ons aangenaam verrast. Wil je je onttrekken van de dagelijkse hectiek is dit de perfecte plek.'

'This is a perfect holiday apartment for two. We were able to have breakfast with a view of the sea and Rathlin Island. Catherine had been a fantastic host and provided a perfectly equipped, clean apartment in walking distance from Ballycastle (beach, port & center). Everything was perfectly organized and we were having a great stay. We felt at home from day one. There are plenty of things to explore nearby.'

'As a family with two small children, the apartment was ideal. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, and the view from the sitting room to die for! The kids loved using the binoculars to look at the boats in the bay. The bathroom is small with just a shower (no bath) but fine for a few days. 5-minute drive from the big Co-op in Rothesay.'

'This is a very concise, beautifully thought out space with a deck overseeing an expansive gorgeous valley filled sheep, birds, rising sun and moon. Iona and her husband could not have been more attentive and helpful. My husband and I have traveled the world seeking prehistoric monuments and sites and Kilmartin Glen is moments away as is its museum. The concentration of millenia of sites is exceeded only by the number of rock art sites even nearer the Pod. We recommend it highly!'

' 6 of us visiting for our friends 60th at the Glenburn hotel. Can't fault anything, thanks for providing the good weather😊 10 minute walk from ferry and town, got car parked fine. People with mobility issues may struggle to walk from road up to the apartment as it's a bit high. But honestly it's worth it if you can. '

'We felt immediately at home in this lovely secluded little apartment with its own front door, ample private parking, the big sittingroom window looking over quiet wooded grounds. Lots of chic, personal touches to the decor, lovely lighting, clean, comfortable, convenient - everything we needed. A few steps from the local hotel for a great meal.'
