'It’s an old building on a hill but the inside is nicely renovated and in a good state. Rooms are nice and clean and beds are very good. Breakfast is nicely done on request the English or Scottish way. Service is excellent and staff (Terry) is very friendly and helpful.'

'foute ontvangst, erg lang moeten wachten voordat we eindelijk in onze kamer konden, chaos overal, de manager zei dat t druk was, hoogseizoen, of we daar begrip voor konden hebben. eigenlijk niet, we betalen voor de kamer, maandenlang is bekend dat we komen, dat is de job als je in het hotelwezen werkt. Manager pakte het totaal verkeerd aan, ging met ons discussieren, onnnodig! hotel was verder prima, keuken ook. De receptioniste Nicole en de waitress uit Lockerbie waren erg proffesioneel...
