'The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

'The room was very dusty. There was brick dust on the bathroom walls together with cobwebs. There was dust stacked on the hand basin waste and mould on the curtains. To get hot water to the basin you had to run the tap for at least 10 minutes and you could not get any hot water to the shower at all. The car park was a joke....7 or 8 spaces for a 40 room hotel.'

Firstly its impossible to get any email/facebook response, they just ignore you On arrival there was a massive line for check in so it took about 40 mins waiting in a hot reception area. Requested a high floor, didnt get one. Room was like a sauna with no air con and no fan. No toilet roll in the room, not even 1. Shower curtain was just stored on the floor Then on the last day we walked up to our room for our key card to not work so had to walk all the way back to...

'Zeer bijzondere locatie vlak bij de zee. Geweldig ontbijt en heel vriendelijk en correct personeel. Enkel de kussens in de bedden zijn oncomfortabel en het enige minpuntje aan ons verblijf. Wat een prachtig gebouw!'

'The reception experience was not good. It was advertised as bed and breakfast but when I got there, I was told that I had to pay extra for the breakfast and never saw anyone to cook the breakfast if I wanted one.'

'This small hotel is located next to the River Wyre and has some lovely rooms. I stayed 4 night with them at 75 pounds per night including breakfast. The room was very nice, with lovely large bed, view of the river and great shower. The room was recently re-done and has great wallpaper. 'Q was immaculate, the room was finished to a very high standard, you get a very warm welcome from the owners an it would appear that nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall a very positive experience and we will definitely stay again.'

'Lovely stay at The Brooklyn Hotel. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, very approachable and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, the bed so comfortable and the linen fresh and pristine. The breakfast was delicious catering for all tastes. I would highly recommend this hotel and this is where we will definitely stay on our next visit to Blackpool.'
