'Warning: If you go to Sihanoukville, you are leaving Cambodia and entering China. This lovely and charming beachtown had been sold to the chinese and they are building casino’s, for the chinese, everywhere. The Khmer and expats are moving out, about 75 percent of the population is chinese! The same goes for the hotel! Once a paradise on earth for european visitors, I was now one of the four people from europe. The rest in this fully booked hotel was... chinese! Breakfast, which was great...

'Hadden hotel geboekt voor 4 nachten om strandvakantie in Cambodia af te sluiten. Hadden kamer met prive zwembad genomen en dat bleek toch echt een voltreffer. Prijs kwaliteit voor deze type van kamer is subliem. Je eigen stukje rust van oase in een regio van verloren glorie. Door de bouwwoede van de Chinezen in de regio van Sihanoukville wordt de omgeving buiten het hotel volledig verwoest maar het hotel zorgt ervoor dat je toch nog het cambodiaans gevoel krijgt. 'I enjoyed my peaceful nights stay and the facilities available. Room was comfortable with air con and fan options which worked well. Staff were friendly and the restaurant produced good food. I’d would have liked an option for a mosquito net as there were a lot, but otherwise a good one night. '
