The condo is in a great location, the grills are nearby but there is plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The Little Fish across the street is a must for coffee and breakfast items. Cabana is good for happy hour and had an island vibe. Boating on the Na’Pali is a bucket list as is the Canyon. The condo was clean and comfortable. Close to the beach. Laundry facilities were super handy with plenty of machines. We never had to wait. All went well! Aloha!

Great location.. less than 5min walk to beach area. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Condo had extra kitchen supplies like seasonings, coffee filters, olive oil. etc..BBQ was right across the way about 50 yards. The bed was a little firm for my liking but some people. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Host was great to work with.

What a lovely condo in Kauai paradise. The unit is very well appointed with everything you need for a one week stay. Close to the beach (we didn’t use the pool) with fresh towels every day at the beach hut. The grounds of Kiahuna Plantation are meticulously maintained and a pleasure to walk around. Lots of great restaurants nearby and such fun watching the turtles come ashore at sunset down the road at Poipu Beach. You will love staying here!

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation on 7 occasions, and this unit clearly outshines them all! The recent renovation has been done impeccably, and the decor is calming and lovely. The unit has everything we needed for our stay including things for the beach, which is a short walk away. The owners were responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Condo with A/C!

Highly recommend this condo! It has A/C, is recently remodeled, and the owner was super responsive. Loved the included towel exchange and all the beach/snorkel gear in the storage closet!

Clean, comfortable and lovely!

The unit was exactly as listed and pictured. Very nicely done and loved sitting in the egg chair, so relaxing! The sunlight coming in the living room windows & slider in the morning and throughout the day was just right and so welcomed. I had family staying in a unit at ocean front and the walk is much closer than pictured on the grounds map. The viewing of the grounds is beautiful from the living room and sitting on the balcony listening to the birds in the trees right outside. Went to little fish for a delicious bowl a few days during my stay and so handy and close. As well with the shops across the road. Was so nice to be so close to the beach and the great lawn for watching sunsets. The chairs and boards provided came in very handy daily. The only downside was from noise of other visitors in building units so close, it was a little much but that could be at any place you stay. I would definitely come back again on a next to Kauai. Don’t hesitate and book this unit for your stay!

Best vacation spot in all of Hawaii!

We've travelled extensively on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Molokai and would say Kauai and Merris' beautiful condo in Poipu is hands-down the best slice of paradise we've experienced--neither overdeveloped like Oahu and Maui nor remote like Molokai, Kauai has the perfect blend of 5-star accommodations like the Kiahuna Plantation plus laid -back Aloha spirit. Merris' condo is beautifully nestled in a tropical garden, surrounded by fragrant flowers and rustling palm leaves and just a quick walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect location and extremely well appointed rental

Before our stay Merris sent an unbelievably thorough welcome letter about the property and the area. When we got there we found the unit to be similarly well-prepared: The kitchen has everything you could need, there’s extra bedding, and the hosts have supplied tons of beach gear. Given the location, the quality of the living space, and all the extras this rental comes with, I really can’t imagine a better way to visit Kauai.

Kauai retreat

We stayed in a clean, well equipped and maintained condo at Kiahuna Plantation. The facilities were manicured and beach front. Was able to rent surf boards for $10/hr and use free lawn chairs/towels. Also, we were able to walk to Po'ipu beach and beach park for swimming and snorkeling. Finally, the athletic club is a short walk with great facilities for the entire family.

Perfect location

Weather was beautiful- property is beautiful and location is perfect for the beaches - club house / pool area is new and very nice but up across the street so we only went there once - we prefer to spend our time on the beach

Excellent!

We’ve enjoyed many family vacations at Kiahuna Plantation over the years, but this was our first time staying in this unit. It’s in a super location within Kiahuna, remodeled, well-appointed, and clean. We especially loved the morning sun on the lanai, the short walk to the beach, pool, or shops, the AC in the bedroom, and the in-unit beach chairs and boogie boards. The property manager was very responsive and also enabled us to check in early. We would absolutely stay here again! Wonderful trip!

Clean, beautifully appointed gem of a condo!

My family and I have been enjoying Kiahuna Plantation for over seven years and this trip will always have a special place in our hearts. Our condo was perfection! First, it was newly renovated with great flooring, new furniture, paint oh and a huge bonus-AC! The mattress on the pullout couch was very comfortable- which is a “hard” find! The kitchen was well stocked- we ate every meal at home and had everything we needed to do so. My family and I highly recommend booking with Merris! She was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions in a friendly way. We are already planning to come back next year and will miss Kauai and this sweet condo Until next time!

Fantastic location

The property is very open and roomy. The bbqs are great and easy to use. The grounds are expansive with room to wander. The parking is easy and close to the unit. Fantastic location and easy to get to restaraunts and stores. The best beach on the island is a short walk away.

Fabulous property

Very well appointed and decorated. Kitchen stocked with utensils, glasses, plates, pots and pans etc. Super comfy bed. Air conditioning a real plus. Great array of beach equipment. Even a first aid kit! Owner is a 5 star host. Great communication and incredible response. If you are considering Poipu beach area, this is the place to stay!!

Perfection in Poipu!

We just returned from our amazing Hawaiian vacation and we were so happy that this home on Kauai was our last and longest stay (6 nights). We saved the best for last!! Merris is a fabulous host and provided wonderfully helpful information before our arrival which helped make the check in process easy and efficient. She also provided many terrific recommendations for places and activities that really helped us enjoy the island. The condo was absolutely lovely - spotlessly clean and outfitted with all you need for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. The decor was updated and comfortable and we felt immediately at home. The kitchen was well-equipped and although we didn't really cook, it was great to have all we needed to prepare easy snacks and meals when we weren't visiting fabulous restaurants. We really appreciated the air conditioned bedroom at night, but also loved the breezes from the large screened doors and on the porch during the day and evening. It was a peaceful and beautiful place to relax! The location is perfect, with lots of nice shops and restaurants only a short walk or drive away. The beach is super close and it was mesmerizing to sit and watch the beautiful surf or be entertained by the surfers who dotted the waves. The grounds are well-maintained, lush and tropical. It was very hard to leave this wonderful place, but we will be dreaming of coming back to Kauai some day! Mahalo Merris for your warm hospitality and your perfect "home away from home"!

Amazing stay and location!

Merris's condo was just as described and a beautiful remodel. It had everything we needed to both explore the island, enjoy the beach and relax. My son loved the egg chair. Merris was very responsive to all our emails and even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk out to the beach and take advantage of the athletic club amenities. I would absolutely stay here again if we visited Kauai.

Great Family Location Spot

Family of four with two boys (13 and 10). The property location was perfect for our family. We were able to walk to the beach to enjoy surfing and boogie boarding each day. In addition, we could walk 5-10 minutes to hit Po'ipu Beach and snorkel. We also enjoyed the athletic club and options to do when we wanted to avoid the crowds at the beach. The condo was fantastic and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Lovely little condo and A/C a plus!

We had a lovely stay and appreciated all of the amenities available in the property such as beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. We used the cooler almost every day and were very glad to have a/c to cool the condo for sleeping. The swing chair was also very comfy! The owners provided very detailed instructions, info on the condo and surrounding area, and helpful recommendations on beaches, activities, shopping and dining. We made most of our meals in the condo and found the kitchen functional and fairly well stocked with cooking utensils. All in we had a lovely visit and found everything to be exactly as described on the listing.

Amazing stay and very accommodating!

The plantation is a perfect location and right across the street from shops and restaurants (including Starbucks). The property is gorgeous. The location of this unit (building 23) is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and set back enough to feel private and quite. The unit was beautiful, bright, airy and had everything we needed. We were especially grateful for the AC at night! The master bed was sooo comfy, my husband and I slept like babies. Our kids enjoyed the sleeper sofa. The patio was huge and we enjoyed coffee and reading out there daily. The utility closet with the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards we used everyday! We made breakfast in the room daily and had all the cooking utensils we needed. Our host, Merris, was so communicative and helpful. A few times I had questions and she was very responsive. Also, the house Manuel and area recommendations were very helpful to navigate activities and restaurants- read it! We couldn’t have had a better experience. We really did not want to leave and will absolutely be back!!! Another note on the beach: We enjoyed Poipu beach which was about a 5 minute walk to the left once you arrive at the beach at the plantation. We snorkeled everyday just from the beach with our kids and saw hundreds of different fish and 2 turtles! We were grateful to sit close to the lifeguard stand so we could have a better understanding of safe swim areas at the beach.

Great unit and location

Upscale unit with 1 bedroom and comfy fold out queen bed. Three of us was perfect. Granite countertop in kitchen and stocked with extras if u like to cook. Olive oil, spices herbs etc. Went to Kaloa fish market and bought monchung and cooked a great meal. Very private end unit and quiet. Easy walk to beach. Cant beat this unit for the price
