'Apartment was fairly basic but ok. Only booked for 1 night to be close to the airport. Room was very clean but the mattress was very hard and I found it uncomfortable. The advertisement did say that there was no lift at the property but didn’t mention that the apartment was on the 3rd floor. 'As advertised, the staff is exemplary! All you need to do is ask and a member of the staff will fulfill your request quickly. We had a problem with our TV and they replaced the entire TV in about 15 minutes. The staff has a sense of pride when it comes to making sure everything works at Mauna Kea and that all of your needs are met! 'Perfecte ligging aan het strand waar allerlei voorzieningen zijn zoals snorkelen. Daarbij prima gelegenheid om bijv. schildpadden te zien; zelfs langs het strand. Zwembaden bij het hotel zijn ook prima. Gezellige bar met prima eten ook in het restaurant. Hotelpersoneel is supervriendelijk.'

'We loved the 2-bedroom suite! Plenty of space, balconies in each room and really nice kitchen. The only thing I would suggest is a good scrubbing of the shower stalls and tiles floors. Other than that, nice and clean, nice fluffy towels. The Marriott Waikoloa has so many amenities and is close to all the things we like to do on the Big Island. There's no where else we would stay!!'

'We enjoyed our stay in the Waikoloa Marriott Ocean Club - 1 bedroom (timeshare side of the complex - hotel and timeshare). Through the Ocean Club, you are in a different tower than the regular hotel guests and staff services like the number of cleaning per days of stay is less, but you can request services as needed.
