'Peaceful and quiet, a great place to unplug and detach from the modern world and all its amenities. The only down side is the outdoor shower. Basically you have to shower early while the sun is still out. We came back late to our cottage and opted to shower in the morning. '

'After coming here from Hilton GV, I finally felt welcomed (6 days after my arrival). The staff are professional yet sunny. They are also helpful. The hotel has some free activities (I'm going to learn hula dancing!). There are also plenty of paid activities that originate at this hotel. (I was aboard the Atlantis for the undersea adventure). The hotel has one of the best locations on Hawai'i's west coast. There are plenty of shops & restaurants within walking distance. '

'We were in is a one-bedroom unit of a large condo complex which appeared to be a mixture of owned and rented units. It is well run but the office is only staffed during the day. There is a communal picnic and pool facilities. Although on the waterfront, it has no ocean swimming or beach. There was a lovely view of the ocean and sunset from our unit. The WiFi was reliable in the bedroom but did not reach throughout the unit. The kitchen equipment and washer/dryer appeared new and worked well....
