'We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. '

'Great accommodation. Spacious, modern decor, clean and super close to the beach. There was even a parasol in the room for us to take the beach. A pleasant 25-30min along the blvd to centre of Rethymnon'

'We wanted a place to call home for the days we were on Crete. Vigla Suites was conveniently located in the central part of the island. The apartment felt like living in a home, not a hotel, for our days on the island. The space was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. I already told them we will book with them again when we return to Crete.'

'It is a gem located near the old town, 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants, cafeteria in front of the house. Very nice property, very clean, 2 full bedrooms and one small with bunk beds. Full kitchen with all the amenities, really well thought of everything. Even though we didn't cook, only used for making tea, but had everything, plenty of utensils, laundry machine. 'I really enjoyed my stay here. Pepy (owner) is lovely and very helpful. The accommodation was great, and the private pool and patio was excellent. Having the ability walk out at any time and enjoy the sun without having to think about if you'll get space / how busy it will be etc was fantastic. 'Very nice '

'Walking distance to ferry, restaurants and stores. The rooms were comfortably and having an elevator made it so much easier to get our luggage up. The recommendations were great, but make sure you make reservations for dinners. You will need to sign up for tours or rent a car to visit the ruins and beaches, olive tree plantation. Highly recommend a private tour for all the history this island has. We were able to choose what we wanted to do and get access to ruins quickly instead of waiting...

'Fabelhaftes Örtchen mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Sehr gastfreundlich, zuverlässig und zuvorkommende Besitzer. Auch das Bettchen für unseren Sohn war bereits vorbereitet. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit vom Strand und den nahegelegenen Restaurants, auch andere Orte sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Kreta-Urlaub.'

"It was a very luxery and nice complex. The Hotel have luxe rooms, all the things works, luxe ligthing system etc. Also to have a balcony is nice. Every day the rooms are cleaned and the water and coffee cups are filled. I would really recommend this Hotel to others!"

"We booked here 2 times: begin and end of our holiday. Rooms I would describe as usual/good. THOUGH a feature I have never encountered before is the dispersion of the bathroomfunctions accross the room: shower NEXT to the WINDOW and also the washingbowl open and next to the bed! Be AWARE though not to get the room (-s?) 203 as when we came back they assigned us to this room. OH MY did it STINK in there! I challenge the manager to stay 5minutes in this room! Surely they have known about this! Than had to wait for 30minutes at the reception until the girl made telephonecalls and give us finally another room. I was quite mad about this! Positive: great location (why I picked it) and a nice terrace and restaurant outside. (I did not like to use the included breakfast in the (usual!) basement: very basic n not so tasty to be honest)"
