'We had a great stay! Everything was just as listed! Every area was very clean, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels provided for our 2 night stay. If i could change anything it would have been to add a nightlight of some sort in the twin room. Unfamiliar place/noises and it was completely dark for my daughter. No lamp or nightlight in that room. Also a few of the cabinet doors need tightened down.'

'We spent a wonderful long weekend in this charming cottage, had perfect weather for our multiple outings to the beach, which is steps away as advertised! The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the neighborhood is outstanding! We will definitely be back!'

'House itself is very cool and stylish and comfortable in all areas. It’s early spring and the property yard and outdoor areas listed were not cleaned, wet and damaged or in unusable condition. Fortunately the windows clearly showed off the beautiful trees around the property from inside. Note the very large cleaning fee is not revealed on the listing.'

'We needed a perfect setting for Mom’s birthday visit with her sister in Valpo, including a first floor bedroom and first floor walk in shower This is it! The bonus was that my sister and I each had a private bedroom AND an evening in the hot tub. So cozy. So well appointed. So clean. Even our white slipper socks stayed clean when walking around inside. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable and both quantity and quality of linens were superior. Loved it! Can’t wait to go back again.'

'The property was clean, spacious, and in a great area central to many attractions including the Dunes! Neighborhood felt extremely safe! There was 8 of us total (4 kids, 4 adults) and we never felt cramped. Robert was wonderful to work with. Would stay here again!'

There's a large dining table where we played board games and ate, every couple got their own bedroom, and it was easy to spread out to do different things, having one group in the dining area, one in the upstairs living area, and one in the downstairs living area. 'The yard is awesome, of course the hot tub at the top of the hill was the best, and we enjoyed the firepit as well. The house was a tidy little cottage at which we enjoyed our stay. It’s within a short walk to the National Park and downtown Miller Beach. The neighborhood is fine, pretty secluded, and still close to most attractions.'

'We traveled for a long weekend to attend our son’s state swim meet. It was 20 minutes from this house, but well worth the drive for our family. Nothing fancy, but we slept 8 people (4 adults, and 4 kids ages 6-), and we were able to bring our dogs, as well. It was great to have the safe fenced in backyard for the dogs and a pet friendly property. Joe was a very accommodating host, and was always available if we had a question (the WiFi had to be reset a few times). We would definitely recommend...

'I was highly disappointed!!! The listing was not what it said it was! There were roaches in my room!! And the room was dirty!!! No towels! The bathroom light didn’t work!! So much dust ! The hallways smelled like cigarettes!! People coming in and out all night long!! And Travelocity did nothing to reimburse me! Was hung up on twice from customer service after calling crying for help! 'We LOVED our stay here and plan to be back! Perfect cozy house by the beach. The deck is so nice and gives you so much extra space. Owners were very responsive and helpful during our stay. Steps down to the beach are fairly steep. I brought my arthritic 10 year old dog and she did good, but keep in mind for older dogs or anyone with stair issues. Parking is right next to the house which is so convenient. I honestly can’t think of any other amenities that would have made the trip better!'
