Fijn hotel
Fijn hotel, midden in de oude stad. Prachtig oud pand, fijn personeel. Het bad was wat onhandig om in te komen en de lichtknoppen in de kamer waren ook wat onlogisch. Vervelender was dat er de laatste twee dagen hamergeluiden te horen waren in onze kamer - deze kwamen uit het pand naast het hotel. De receptie kon daar niets aan doen, bood honderd maal excuses aan en gaf gratis ontbijt. Dat was een fijne geste, maar mensen die overwegen om in dit hotel te blijven, zouden even kunnen informeren of de verbouwing in het pand ernaast al is afgerond. Als dat zo is, zouden ze zeker een verblijf in dit hotel moeten overwegen - ik vond het een van de fijnste hotels waarin ik een verblijf heb gehad. Warm aanbevolen dus!

Sfeervol hotel
Een 14e eeuws gebouw, omgetoverd tot sfeervol en luxe hotel in de "oude stad". Een uitstekend restaurant, zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, verse producten en warme gerechten op bestelling, dus niets ligt lang in de schaal te pruttelen. Zeer voorkomend en vriendelijk personeel en alles heel proper, het beddengoed en de handdoeken werden elke dag verschoond. De locatie is uitstekend:in een rustige straat vlakbij de Wawelheuvel ( paleis) en op een kleine 10 minuten lopen van het grote marktplein.

Beautiful old building full of character so tastefully preserved. Excellent fine dining with the lunch and dinner tasting menus. Lovely small pool and sauna in caverns under the hotel perfect start to the day with a swim and sauna and massage treatment great for tired legs after all those steps in the Salt Mines . Staff warm and welcoming .

Fantastic hotel!
The beds and room were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I do wish the room had two things that it didn't have. One, there was no furniture with drawers to put our clothes, and a couch would have been better than 2 chairs. This isn't enough to dissuade me from coming again though. The location is excellent!

We hate to leave poor reviews, but I am getting these reminders from Expedia so for once I decided to do it. Huge shout-out to an excellent staff filled with many friendly faces, helpful and kind people. For the facility's owners - it is time to do something, the hotel needs a serious renovation. For us, it was the horrific bathroom, and the shape of the floor, clearly needing a good scrub and polish. We couldn’t turn on the shower, as the shower faucet was stuck. Old historic buildings need extra care, superior craftsmanship, updated appliances, and constant maintenance. This place could be a gem, but it feels like it is stuck in the 80s For the price we were disappointed. This is not a 5-star hotel. We would say it barely stretches to 4.
