'Great property. Our room was spacious with all of the amenities and supplies available at no extra charge. The front desk concierge staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Kyoto. Highly recommend!'

'A nice clean room with space to be able to open up your suitcase. Close to the Mo key park, bamboo grove and the temples. We’d definitely stay there again!'

'The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and soaking in the Hina wood tub after a long day was relaxing and much needed. I definitely recommend staying here!'

'Gion Elite Terrace is a great homebase in Kyoto. The hotel is clean, the rooms are incredibly well designed, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and more. The only downside (which is a larger issue with Kyoto in general) is that the property does not have much authentic Japanese charm or feel because it is largely (75%+) American tourists and staff are perfectly bilingual (a plus, but also a bit disorienting). If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience then this likely isn’t...

'It was an excellent boutique hotel. It was perfect for our purposes. Very spacious room with whatever you need for an extended stay. The external environment around it was unimpressive but the location just a block off of the main thoroughfare more than made up for it. It was a short walk to conveniences stores, restaurants and the train station.'
