'We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!'

'Junior suite that wecwere in had a stupid shower unit placed in the middle, spilling water everywhere. Breakfast was fresh but outdoor service pitifully slow. Had to make a take-away arrangement with the helpful concierge to tie in with a taxi pick-up.'

'The property was beautiful and the room was nice. Fabio was very helpful. Driving doesn't seem optional to this property, you will need to ever a residential zone. This was my first stay in Italy in which I was driving, so I was nervous about driving into somewhere I shouldn't. There are narrow roads to get there, but the signs are clear. I would highly recommend staying here!'
