Our hostess was very communicative and helpful and prepared an amazing breakfast at the other Ballarooms property (less than 5 minutes away). It was great having A/C to combat the heat. 'As a Hotels.com Gold member, I was genuinely surprised by this stay. The check-in communication was nonexistent, so I had to reach out myself just to get inside. The lighting was controlled by a single key, making it awkward for two guests, and the host was inflexible about that, telling me I should not have removed the key for the light from the entrance keys. He was also quite pushy about a four-euro tax, insisting on a wire transfer and then calling and messaging multiple times over it. The...
