The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! '

'A beautiful Kyoto house, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished yet comfortable for modern life with great view of the Yasaka pagoda. Every possible thing needed had been provided. We loved the bathroom. The little library was fantastic, and I loved to sit upstairs in the morning and watch the sun come up over eastern hills with a coffee and a book. 'It was a great property for a large group that expressed the unique culture of Kyoto. Nice local cuisine options in the area and is a decent area as a hub after a day's activities. The one caveat is that depending on your schedule it may be easier to cab rather than take the local buses nearby. '
