'A beautiful Kyoto house, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished yet comfortable for modern life with great view of the Yasaka pagoda. Every possible thing needed had been provided. We loved the bathroom. The little library was fantastic, and I loved to sit upstairs in the morning and watch the sun come up over eastern hills with a coffee and a book. 'The bathroom was incredibly unique and beautiful! The amenities were excellent (the washing machine was a bit difficult to inderstqnd and launch correctly though^^)'

'Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! '

'I wanted a traditional Japanese experience for my birthday and this was all around fantastic! My only fault was arriving late in winter and it took awhile for the heating to warm up the place (I'm from a tropical climate so it's much colder here for me).'
