Perfecte locatie!
Locatie was perfect en maakte voor ons de 'aftandse' indruk van de kamer goed. De klantvriendelijkheid van het personeel was individueel wisselend maar gemiddeld voldoende. Op verzoek werd er prima meegedacht. Bovenal was de locatie voor ons perfect. De ligging van de standaardkamer en het direct aan zee zijn, en buiten kunnen zitten voor je eigen kamer, vonden we super.

Patatran Village is a must on La Digue
We loved our stay at Patatran Village. The staff were so friendly and helpful making us feel so welcome. The beaches on either side of the property were beautiful and had excellent snorkeling. We felt that this hotel was on the best part of the island. We had breakfast and dinner on the property each day of our stay and it was always excellent. Our room was clean, had air conditioning and a beautiful view of the ocean. We cannot wait to go back!

Toller Abschluss einer wundervollen Reise
Am Ende unseres Seychellen-Trips verbrachten wir 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Haupthaus, mit Blick aufs Meer und einem sehr grossen Balkon. Dieser Teil ist zwar nicht ganz modern, dafür sehr sauber, wunderschön gelgen und geräumig. Das Personal war überdurchschnittlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen mundete uns sehr - und dies erst noch zu sehr fairen Preisen. Allgemein herrschte eine familiäre Atmospähre. Unsere Fähre legte am Abreisetag erst um 17.00 Uhr ab - wir durften das Zimmer bis 16.30 Uhr gratis benutzen - das ist ganz und gar nicht selbstverständlich - Danke nochmals. Einzige, negative Punkte: Strandtücher etwas klein, Liegen am eher kleinen Pool etwas knapp und teilweise defekt. Doch wer deswegen auf die Seychellen reist, ist eh fehl am Platz.

Bardzo warto!
Przepięknie położony hotel, chyba najładniej na całej wyspie. Widok na morze obłędny. Bardzo miła obsługa. Przyzwoite śniadania (chociaż wszystkiego dość mało). Dobre kolacje z karty, porównując z innymi restauracjami na wyspie przyzwoite cenowo. Zdecydowanie warto tam przyjechać. Straszliwie zdezelowane rowery - powinni mieć tyle przyzwoitości żeby nie kasować za ich wypożyczenie - niestety kasują.

Ausgezeichneter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Mit dem Fahrrad sind alle Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu ereichen.

En voi suositella hotellia. Huoneet ovat todella vanhahtavat ja epämukavat. Huoneessani oli erittäin huono ilmanlaatu. Yleisiin tiloihin oli yritetty panostaa, mutta koska toteutus oli heikkoa niin kukaan ei käyttänyt hotellin alueita laisinkaan. Uima-allas alue on ala-arvoinen. Majoitukseni sisälsi aamupalan ja illallisen. Aamupalalla ruoka usein loppu ja illallisella tuntui siltä että samaa ruokaa syötiin päivästä toiseen. Lisäksi kalaruokien kanssa kannattaa olla varovainen sillä niistä löytyy suuria ruotoja.

Absolutely perfect hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Friendly staff and amazing situation made this the perfect get away. Far enough away from the centre of La Digue to feel disconnected, but close enough to walk/ride.

sehr schönes, möglicherweise das beste Hotel auf La Digue. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben ein Upgrade auf die Captain’s Suite erhalten. Die Aussicht unseres Zimmers und Lage des Hotels waren grandios. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich, das Abendessen war gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Schöne Anlage an schöner Bucht.
Das Hotel liegt ganz im Norden von La Digue, etwas ausserhalb vom Hauptort. Mit dem Fahrrad, mit dem hier jeder fährt, ist man aber schnell im Zentrum. Fahrräder vermietet auch das Hotel, allerdings sind diese in keinem guten Zustand. Direkt am Hotel ist eine schöne Bucht mit einem kleinen Strand. Wir haben hier auch geschnorchelt. Leider befinden sich die Bungalows alle an einem Hang. Was den Aufenthalt ein wenig beschwerlich macht. Die Bungalows sind sehr gerräumig. Leider gibt es nur eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer. Dadurch können die restlichen Räume eigentlich kaum genutzt werden. Das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Abendessen hat uns auch immer geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.

Staff were very friendly and approachable. Asis who works in the hotel restaurant was very attentive and smily :) The two small pillows in the room had hairs on them. I wonder if they were changed. Also hairs in the toilet floor. Besides that, the room was of sea view and was very nice. Sea by the hotel is only good for snorkeling coz of all the stones in it.

Hotel with great views
Hotel is nice and the location is amazing, maybe the best on the island. However the hotel treats guests differently according to the type of accommodation they have booked and tend to charge for every amenity (deposit requested for towels, cappuccino is charged on the breakfast, no complimentary water, etc). The hotel also offers transfers to the ferry or for diners at the restaurant but if you are an ordinary guest, you cannot use it even if you pay for it.

Nous revenons de 3 jours au Patatran. Certes l'hôtel est un peu vieillissant, mais l'accueil est au top de la part du personnel à l'arrivée (serviette rafraichissante et verre de bienvenue. La vue des bungalows est magnifique, ils donnent tous sur la mer. La plage de l'hôtel est l'une des plus belle de la digue. La nourriture est très bien. La piscine est largement suffisante. Le personnel de l'hôtel est au petit soin. Un petit reproche concernant la clim qui ne rafraichit pas assez.

Best Hotel On La Digue
Patatran Hotel is really a very good hotel with the best staff ever. Lindy who is in charge, is one of the friendliest person you can meet We stayed her 2014 and came back January 2016 and many of the staff remember us. Next to the hotel you will find a small beach witch feels like your own. For our two weeks this was the absolute highlight.

Talviaikaan tuulee luoteesta, joten ranta ainakin silloin tuulinen. Hotellin kautta pystyi helposti vuokraamaan pyörän ja ostamaan kohtuullisen hintaisen snorklausretken. Wlania alueelta ei löydy.

Wunderschöne Aussicht
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, mit herrlicher Aussicht, das einzige was vielleicht als störend empfunden werden kann sind die Geckos, die manchmal auch im Zimmer oder Bad auftauchen können, da die Türen und Fenster nicht dicht sind. Die Villen liegen auf Hügeln und man sollte nichts gegen Treppensteigen haben. Man muss zum Frühstück ins Hauptgebäude laufen, wo auch die Lobby und ein Restaurant sich befindet. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr lecker, man bekommt vom Koch auf Wunsch immer frisches Omelett oder Crepes zubereitet. Der Ausblick vom Frühstücksraum ist fantastisch, man blickt auf den indischen Ozean und auf die Nachbarinseln von La Digue. Man kann auch ein Fahrrad direkt am Hotel mieten und der Strand "Anse Parates" ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Die anderen Strände wie "Grand Anse" oder "Petit Anse" sind weit entfernt, genauso wie "Anse Source d'Argent". Man kann zu Fuß in nur 25 Minuten im sogenannten Zentrum der Insel ankommen, wo es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Sollte ich La Digue wieder besuchen, würde ich wieder hier wohnen, weil ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe und die Aussicht einfach unbezahlbar ist!

Rundum perfekt !!!
wir hatten das Patatran für 6 Nächte gebucht. nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung inkl. Welcomedrink und feuchtem Tuch wurden wir sehr zügig eingecheckt und bekamen ein sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade für ein traumhaftes DeLuxe Zimmer (African) mit Blick aufs Meer und 2 kleinere Inseln. Das Zimmer war geräumig, Bad mit Badewanne, Dusche und 2 Waschbecken, alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Betten sehr bequem. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und nett

Nous avons eu la chambre Bois damier dans le bâtiment principal et face à la mer. L'hôtel semble très grand et les autres "Villas" pourraient être différentes. Personnel super agréable. Nous avons été ravis! Un point NÉGATIF cependant: l'absence de wifi pour ce type d'hôtel (1h vaut 6€ et la connection est faible)

séjour au Patratran en chambre standard petit bungalow de 15m2 très mal équipé, pas de cafetière , peu de rangement, pas de séchoir ,pas du tout de wifi gratuit même à la réception uniquement payant 6E de l'heure tout cela pour 160 e la nuit avec Pdj . Pas possible de se baigner sur la plage à de côté l hôtel Personnel agréable et jolie vue .

Perfekt läge med ohindrad utsikt över havet! Vågornas brus ständigt närvarande. Mycket vacker liten sandstrand och klippor på hotellområdet, även om inget rev skyddar mot vågor och baksug just här. Badvänligare Anse Severe bara 2 cykelminuter bort. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal och mycket välsmakande och omväxlande mat i restaurangen. Romantisk sänghimmelsäng i det rymliga superior-rummet. Välstädat, men rummet och hotellet något slitet.

“LUNA DI MIELE DA SOGNO!!!”
Fantastico hotel, sicuramente da consigliare!! Le camere sono posizionate in graziosissime casette con terrazzino proprio sull'oceano. Di notte si può ascoltare il rumore delle onde che si infrangono sui massi di granito della splendida spiaggia di Anse Patates, che se non fosse per le piccole dimensioni che non permettono di stare sdraiati sul bagnasciuga per molto tempo, sicuramente si aggiudicherebbe il titolo di seconda spiaggia più bella dell'isola di la Digue (la prima è senza dubbio Anse Source D'Argent). Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti calorosamente dalla gentilissima direttrice e l'ultimo giorno abbiamo fatto la conoscenza del nuovo responsabile italiano con cui abbiamo scambiato volentieri qualche parola. Quando la direttrice ci ha mostrato la stanza (suite luna di miele Bois Citrone) siamo rimasti a bocca aperta: una romantica cameretta con un'incantevole letto a baldacchino con tende di pizzo bianco, ovunque fiori di hibiscus che rendevano la stanza esotica e molto raffinata. E per finire un bellissimo terrazzino con sedie sdraio da cui si poteva ammirare l'oceano. La colazione era a dir poco squisita e molto varia. Divine le crepes con aroma di vaniglia farcite con la marmellata (quella di banane era da leccarsi i baffi!!). Molto piacevole il sottofondo musicale romantico e gentilissimo lo staff che ti versava il caffè. Il ristorante dà sulla piscina e sull'oceano. Abbiamo trascorso una meravigliosa luna di miele!!!

Сомневались при выборе отеля между Patatran Village и La Digue Island Lodge, нас прельстило предложение, при бронировании 4 ночей пятая предоставлялась бесплатно. Побывав на острове La Digue поняли, что сделали правильный выбор! Во-первых вы получаете потрясающий вид на море, который есть по-моему во всех номерах этого отеля, такой вид вы вряд ли получите в других отелях острова, во-вторых у отеля один из самых красивых живописных пляжей, на этот пляж приезжают даже играть свадьбы, что очень красиво наблюдать если повезет. В третьих там очень приятный обслуживающий персонал, все делают легко и с улыбками. В реальности отель гораздо красивее, чем на картинках. Больше этого отеля нам понравился только Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie, но у него и цена в 2,5 раза выше. Минусы у отеля конечно тоже есть: это платный интернет, ржавые велосипеды, которые скрипят при езде, хороший, но однообразный завтрак (в течении 5 дней не поменялось ни одно блюдо), ремонт не новый, но все аккуратно и чисто, сейфа нет, было бы хорошо если бы администрация отеля читала отзывы и что-нибудь меняла в лучшую сторону. Но остров настолько хорош, что про такие недостатки практически забываешь. Если вы спросите вернулись бы мы в этот отель, то ответ однозначен - "ДА"!

we payed for the standard room, but as we arrived there in low season, we were upgrated to the captains room, which was reeeaaaally awesome for the price we payed. althought if i had payed the real price for the room i would have asked to clean the windows a little bit!

Best spot on La digue island
The perfect day to spend after our wedding anniversary. Close to jetty (10-15 mins walk). Perfect location, we found patatrans beach as one of the best beach on La digue island. The room that we got had the best view of the island, felt very special. The hotel staff were very special and they made our stay special by arranging flowers and fruits in our room. Lindi, the girl at reception was so helpful and so polite to talk to. We would definitely return to this hotel if we go to Seychelles again.

Leggendo le recensioni sul Patatran, ero titubante nel prenotare questo albergo.... invece....anche se sono una persona piuttosto esigente mi sono trovato benissimo. Posizione ottima, con la affascinante spiaggia di Anse Patate sotto l'albergo, adatta anche per lo snorkeling, colazione a buffet abbondante e con tanta frutta e marmellate tropicali, cena sempre buona, a volte eccellente, personale educato ed efficiente, pulizia degli ambienti e della camera (meravigliosa vista sull'oceano !) inpeccabile.....insomma una vera sorpresa positiva. Ho soggiornato per 7 notti ad aprile 2012.

Il manque juste quelques petits details pour que ce soit bien. Plus de rupture d'approvisionnement pour le savon, le gel douche. Pas d'acces internet. propose. La cuisine est bonne. Le personnel sympa fait tout ce qu'il peut.

Veldig slitte rom, det står at det er to restauranter og en bar. Det var bare en restaurant og baren var bare en del av restaurante. Servicen og maten var upåklagelig, men vi kommer nok dessverre ikke til å dra tilbake.

Best located hotel on the island
La Digue: Beautiful island with lovely beaches strewn with beautiful granite boulders. Really fun to cycle around the island on rental bikes. Room: Probably the best located hotel on the island we thought. We stayed in the "Orchid" superior room. The room was slightly tacky but the view from the balcony was probably the best on the island we thought as it looked down onto the beautiful beach below. Food: Evening meals were good. Breakfast OK but nothing to write home about . The restaurant manager (from Sri Lanka) was excellent - a very friendly chap, who really made our stay at Patatran very special. We would give him 10 out of 10 for hospitality. Complaint: Only thing really to complain about was the exchange rate the hotel levied on our final bill... on top of the government restaurant tax (5-10%) we'd already signed for, as we paid at the hotel desk at the end of our stay (rather than directly at the restaurant after the meal), they charged another 10% government tax + their credit card machine only worked in euros (rather than seychelles rupees) and the hotel forced an exchange rate on us that was 15% worse than anywhere else on the island => not happy with this => make sure you pay for your restaurant meals in local currency at the time of eating
