misleiding door foto's op de website van homeaway

Kleine villa, heel netjes en ruim genoeg voor 6 personen. De foto's op de website geven echter de realiteit niet helemaal juist weer. We boekten omdat we 2 kamers zagen met een dubbel bed, en 1 kamer met 2 enkele bedden (voor een jongen en een meisje van 17). Daar aangekomen slecht 1 dubbel bed. In de ene kamer was er een hoogte verschil van meer dan 10 cm tussen de bedden en in de tweede kamer was er een plooibed bijgezet met zeer slechte matrassen. Matras dan maar op de grond gelegd. Het dubbele bed is voor de foto gewoon in een andere kamer gezet. Pure misleiding dus! In de recensies lazen we ook dat het een heel vriendelijke ontvangst was en heel sympathieke eigenaars. De eigenaar hebben we niet gezien en de ontvangst gebeurde door een dame met heel weinig tijd en zeer gehaast. Hadden dus zelfs de tijd niet om het probleem van de bedden aan te kaarten. Voor de rest was de villa best ok en hadden we een fijne vakantie. Hopelijk past de eigenaar zijn fotoarchief aan zodat de potentiele boekers een realistisch beeld hebben van de inrichting...

Très bien. Piscine chauffée très agréable (même pour un enfant de 2 ans qui y a passé des heures) et maison proche des commerces et de la mer (2 min en voiture). Propriétaire très réactif par message. Nous conseillons !

Beautiful villa in perfect location

The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need, 2 bathrooms which were both huge, large kitchen, sitting room and the patio area was perfect. We opted to have the pool heated as we stayed in November and it was amazing, the bbq area was a brilliant idea and because there was a huge supermarket only minutes away we had a few bbq's. There are also lots of places to eat within the shopping complex and the ones we tried were lovely a short walk into corralejo or only 3 euros in a taxi. Flag beach is definitely worth a trip as the sea and sand are beautiful. We loved our stay and hopefully will be back again soon.

Pasamos unos días estupendo. La ubicación muy buena,a pocos minutos de la playa de Corralejo. Supermercados y restaurantes cerca de la vivienda. Sin duda ,ha merecido la pena pasar unos días aquí.

Fantastic venue

Really great stay in this great villa. It was secure, clean and provided everything we wanted. Managers were really good, we arrived early and were able to drop off our things early. Pros: Near to Campanario shopping centre (5 mins walk) with a good Hiperdino Supermarket and a taxi rank, near to the beach (10 mins walk), great heated pool and outside area. Lots of english books to read, we didn't try the TV or the DVD's. Kitchen is fine with fridge/freezer, kettle and dishwasher. Cons: Could have done with more bedding in Feb and more towels but this was a minor problem. Electricity did go off twice in the night but again, no real problem, it didn't matter. Overall we would highly recommend this villa and hope to be back.

Beautiful villa and perfect location!

Extremely clean and beautiful villa with great decor, felt very much at home. I know the area well, it's a great location if you want to stay closer to the El Campanario, Sunset Lounge and flag beach part of town. If getting into the far side of town is too far to walk, the taxi rank is at El Campanario and they are very cheap. We both struggle walking far and this wasn't a problem at all. It's a safe area, but the extra security at the villa was comforting. Communication with the owners has always been spot on from the start, and the property manager was lovely. We would definitely recommend this villa and would also love to return here again 😁😊👍 thank you, we had a wonderful week!!!

Très bon emplacement

C'es la 4ème fois que nous séjournons dans cette villa, l'emplacement est idéal proche de tout, la villa est propre. Quelques améliorations: des coussins sur les fauteuils (transat) extérieurs, l'air-co dans toute la maison, sinon le reste est parfait. La villa est bien équipée (ustensils pour cuisiner, peut-être une plus grande casserole pour pouvoir faire des spaggethi :-); il y a une machine à laver, bbq, beaucoup de livres pour les amateurs).

Very good Villa for the price.

A stylish Villa that is just a 15 minute walk from the town centre and 5 minutes from a crafts market that opens twice a week. You also have a small shopping arcade which includes a supermarket 5 minutes away. The house itself had a good layout, was clean and a beautiful pool for the hot sunny days. There was a large selection of books to read and a few dvds to watch incase you fancied to spend the evening in chilling. Communications with the owner was very good with all phone calls answered straightaway and emails answered in a reasonable time frame. There is also a music centre with large speakers for you to use excellent for when in the garden and pool. The only thing I had trouble with is I used the home and away website to get me to the location and it was two hundred meters out. We also had the kettle blow a fuse and it took us a while to locate the fuse box. This is easily remided though. Overall a very good Villa that was reasonably priced for the time of year we went (1st week in September).

Amazing as usual

Villa is well equiped, and close to everything: super market, center is 10-15 min walk, Grandes Playa (big beautiful beach) is not far as well. It was our 2nd stay and we already booked another stay in this villa. The pool is amazing and always in the sun, you can ask the pool to be heated which is nice. Dario and his team are well organised. I recommand you this vlila 100%.

Lovely villa, responsive owners

We had a great stay in this lovely villa, located a couple of hundred yards from El Campanario shopping centre, which is a must on our holidays in Corralejo for Sunday lunchtime tapas in the music square. 20 minute walk into town via road or beach. Having a warm pool was good and the pool manager checked it out a couple of times during our stay. Nice airy rooms and the kitchen sufficiently equipped. Both before and during our holiday, the owners, Dario and Arsenio, were quick to respond to emails and queries, and our breakage deposit was returned within 36 hours of our arrival back home.

Abgewohntes Haus in guter und ruhiger Lage, Garten und Pool gepflegt.

Unsere Mängel: Zusammengebrochenes Einzelbett. 2x Wasserüberflutung der Terrasse vom Pumpwerk auf dem Dach.( 3 Tage Urlaub wg. Reparaturarbeiten verloren!) 2x kein Wasser im Haus! Keine Einweisung in TV-Einstellung! Zu wenig Geschirr! Waschmaschiene und Kaffeemaschiene sind in bedenklichem Zustand - aber noch tätig. Gut: Nach Mängelangabe wurde sofort für Abhilfe gesorgt. Allerdings haben mehrere SMS nach Italien zum Ansprechpartner, knapp 19,- Euro gekostet! Das alles wäre ohne Smartphone nicht möglich gewesen! Schlecht: Keine Entschädigung durch den Vermieter für die Unannehmlichkeiten - auch keine Entschuldigungen! FeWo benachrichtigt, hat gut und schnell reagiert - doch für uns ohne Folge!

Lovely Secure Villa in Quiet Residental Street

The two of us stayed in this villa for one week. It's lovely and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The outside space is fabulous and gets the sun all day. Two bathrooms meant my partner and I had one each which was great, only problem was the shower rails were those tension rails that are not screwed to the wall and every time you moved in the shower the shower curtain fell down (particularly the one in the family bathroom). I ended up showering very carefully with the shower curtain positioned strategically to not let the water spew over the bath edge onto the floor so as I didn't have to touch the curtain all week! The shower curtains could do with renewing as they were a little discoloured too. I suffer with arthritis in my hips and knees and was disappointed that I couldn't use the pool as the first step down onto the pool steps was very deep and as I have difficulty bending my knees (and kneeling on them) and lifting my hips I had no way of being able to get in or out safely. This wasn't a problem for my partner but just something to bear in mind if you have a mobility problems. The villa was in a lovely quiet residential street, easy to find and about 5mins walk from the local shopping centre with a big reasonably priced supermarket. Taxis were also situated there. The main 'strip' of the resort was another 10 mins walk further but a taxi from the rank was only 3euro so we used them often. Great Villa despite the little niggles we had and would recommend booking it. We had no problems contacting the owner and their instructions and directions were spot on.

Geat Villa needs some minor updating and has noise from building site.

I have rated this villa as very good as it was spacious and had a good clean pool which had the sun on it all day. I booked the villa with Homeway although it was taken off this site by the owner shortly before we arrived which caused some confusion with local charges which were resolved with the owner who does not live on the island on the phone. The villa is very secure with locks an alarm shutters, a locked gar and a small safe. The villa was clean and cost 850 euros for a week in peak season. I saw this as good value. With a few minor improvements it could get a five star rating. 1 New baths required as they have rust patches 2. New mattresses required as they are too soft and you roll into the middle of the double bed. I have a bad back so slept on the floor for a week which gave me a worse back than when I arrived. 3. The kettle could only be opened with a knife and the lid was hard to keep open whilst[pouring on water from a bottler which is disappointing as the last review suggests it is a replacement for another defective kettle. 4 The shower curtains are held up with expandable plastic poles and keep falling down when wet 5 The oven was not hot enough to cook chips or meat 6 The washing machine could only wash at 60 degrees no matter what you set it to and would never end the tumble cycle. 7 There was building work on a large construction about 40 meters away which meant noise from 0730 to 1200 and then 1600 to 1900. There is no work on Sunday. We had not been told of this by the owner. This looks like it will be there for many months to come as they are working on the metal pillars. At one point I thought cruise ship was docking but this was a cement mixer., This noise did not detract from the holiday as we were out most of the time and you got used to the sound which was generally no that loud. It is best to get up early to open the windows and doors as the apartment seems to heat up during the night so a 0730 wakeup call by the builders is perfect. 8. There is only enough sofa and lounge chair space for three persons. 9 Net curtains in kitchen and shower curtains are very dirty The rest of the villa was very clean especially the pool. 10. The 50 Euro charge for using the single aircon which I had not been notified of prior to arrive should be removed or added to the weekly headline price. I understand to heat the pool in winter also has a charge. The owner did not charge me as an act of good faith for which I am grateful

Villa spacieuse et bien située

Villa spacieuse avec beaucoup de rangement située près d'un centre commercial offrant tous les services (supermarché, boutiques, pharmacie etc.). L'environnement est calme car la villa est entourée de maisons. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Cette location est parfaite pour une famille avec enfants. Seul bémol: les plages aux alentours sont petites et certaines avec des cailloux. L'idéal est de prendre un voiture de location pour se rendre sur les grandes plages à quelques kilomètres. Sinon bon réseau de bus et station de bus près de la villa.
