'Erick was very helpful! The house is no frills but definitely comfortable for anyone needing an inexpensive place to stay. The house is on the river which provides for a stunning landscape and the backyard is near perfection and attracts birds and butterflies!'

'Our drive there took longer than expected so we were exhausted when we arrived! It was so clean and had all that we needed to relax. The hot tub was a bonus as we were sore and tired and the view is beautiful! I definitely recommend this place!'

'Loved the vibe of this place at night!! We got there late afternoon, nice and cool on the mountain side, chilled outside while it was raining and enjoyed the sunset and atmosphere of the place! I'd definitely stay here again!'

'We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!'
