The first level features two bedrooms, including one with private lock-off access, ideal for added privacy or flexible group arrangements. The second level includes two additional bedrooms and a large terrace overlooking the turquoise waters of La Paz Bay.

Downtown La Paz is approximately 10 minutes away, offering local markets, restaurants, galleries, and nightlife. Iconic beaches such as Balandra and Tecolote are about a 25-minute drive, while La Ventana—famous for kitesurfing and outdoor activities—is roughly 45 minutes away. The resort’s marina provides direct access to boat tours, fishing, and excursions to Espíritu Santo Island, making this location ideal for guests seeking comfort, privacy, and outdoor adventure.

Arriving by air:

From La Paz International Airport (LAP), Villa Bittos at Puerta Cortés is approximately a 20-minute drive. Taxis, private transfers, and car rentals are readily available, making arrival quick and straightforward.



From Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), the drive is approximately 2.5 hours. The route is scenic and follows the Baja California Sur coastline. Many guests enjoy stopping in Todos Santos, a Pueblo Mágico known for its art scene, cafés, and dining.



Transportation options:

• Car rental is recommended for guests who plan to explore beaches and nearby towns independently

• Private transfers can be arranged from either airport for a comfortable and direct arrival



Getting around during your stay:

Within Puerta Cortés, guests can move easily on foot or by using the included golf cart. For trips beyond the resort, taxis, ride-hailing services, and private drivers are widely available.



Approximate driving distances:

• Downtown La Paz: 10 minutes

• Balandra Beach: 25 minutes

• Tecolote Beach: 25 minutes

• La Ventana: 45 minutes

Other Things to Note:

Puerta Cortés is an active resort community that hosts events, tournaments, and social gatherings throughout the year, which may add to the lively atmosphere during certain dates. Special packages and arrangements are available for group stays, celebrations, bachelor or bachelorette trips, and private events upon request.



Access to resort amenities and Beach Club areas is subject to resort policies, operating hours, and availability, which are managed by the resort and may change without prior notice.



Important Beach Club notice:

Starting November 1st, access to the Blue Cortés Beach Club requires a minimum consumption of $800 MXN per person. This minimum also applies to children over 12 years old.



Starting March 20th (Semana Santa / Spring Break) 2026 Blue Cortés Beach Club will become exclusive to members only. This policy is established by the resort and is outside of our control.



Additional services such as housekeeping, childcare, transportation, and concierge arrangements are available at an extra cost.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
