Schone kamers, ontbijt was lekker en het personeel is vriendelijk. Loopafstand naar het strand en mooi zwembad. Minpunt was dat de kamers luidruchtig zijn, airco gemiddeld en er geen gordijnen zijn maar alleen shutters, je wordt vroeg wakker door het licht.

Gedateerd hotel. Kamer en badkamer door gordijn ipv deur gescheiden. Warm water en airconditioning werken goed. Slechte hygiene in het buffet van het restaurant. (Insekten en vogels eten mee...) Personeel spreekt zeer slecht Engels. WiFi niet op de kamers beschikbaar. In lobby zeer trage WiFi. Bij iedere sessie opnieuw inloggen.

Uitstekend hotel voor rust en uitstapjes.
Prachtig gelegen, comfortabel, Uitstekend buffet en ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk gastvrij personeel. Prachtig zwembad. Jammer dat er niet in de zee gezwommen kan worden. Wel een beetje geïsoleerd v Labuanbajo maar wel een goede shuttle service. Het best beste van Flores

The pool is great, the food is first class, rooms clean and mine had a great view. Bathrooms spacious and functional. Only issue was they were out of almost all spirits the whole time we were there. Even the special cocktail of the day, no one knew how to make. I also ordered a whiskey sour (off the drinks menu) and got a shot of Jack Daniels. It's not a big deal, it was still a wonderful stay, just need to address that minor point.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel if you are from the USA or Australia. The rooms are average at best. The air conditioner struggled and we were very hot at night not to mention the WiFi on our floor didn’t even register so we had to go down to the lobby to get internet. Friendly staff but no one at the hotel speak fluent English so be prepared for a very real language barrier. Food is very average at best and breakfast was the most decent meal they have. If you have the money I would stay somewhere else but this hotel was good value for what we paid.

The pool and the situation in front of the beach was appreciate We choose that hotel to use the gym. Unfortinatly it was impossible beacause the runner was broken. Nobody ad advise or try to find a way to fix the problem.

Very nice property. Great staff. Excellent service. Hot water tank had small capacity. So every morning around 7:30 am, hot water would run out. Water would not drain in room 510 shower. We told the staff about these problems, but they said they did not quite understand them because of their limited English. Otherwise everything was great. We will recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

This is a nice property. Clean, comfortable, but the limited shuttle service, and staff make it a less than ideal place to stay. Imagine breakfast with 3 it 4 guest eating, and 10 or so employees hovering over your every move. Also, at check out I was accused of taking a water out of the mini bar fridge, when I DID NOT. Strange too....I had lost my key on the property. I was told 100,000 to replace it, but had to be able to get in. It just "magically" showed up in my room. I'm absolutely positive it was not there before I requested a new key. Definitely a language barrier as well.

Avoid, unpleasant stay
Started with stating they would pick us up from the airport after we sent our flight details and received confirmation and NO ONE showing up to pick us up. Once arrived at the hotel it was quite rundown, in a extremely remote location (not walkable to town), with dirty welcome drink glasses. The food is very over priced and poor. The rooms are fairly large but no shower door and stains on the mirror. The hotel had a strange ambience as it was just us and a few other guests. The staff did not speak English well and we had to ask them repeatedly for certain tasks to be completed. They even gave us misinformation about local activities and tours and quoted us incorrect pricing. The pool is quite nice. Tennis courts are a nice touch. No sauna as advertised and buffet breakfast was mediocre.

Nice facility; however, the gym is an embarrassment to the facility. No spa services offered... was closed the entire time I was there. The room was clean and the pool was beautiful.

A happy stay
Nice hotel, plenty of rooms, lovely pool area and friendly staff. Decent food and cocktails to choose from but the WiFi isnt great and is only available in the lobby or bar areas. No WiFi in your room is quite inconvenient these days.

Nice hotel, great location, helpful staff
A very nice hotel, only a short taxi ride from the town and airport. Concierge staff were excellent - asked on arrival about a boat tour into the Komodo National Park, and had it booked within 10 minutes (and it was a fantastic tour). Grounds are well kept, great pool, and the bar and restaurant serve decent food and beer (and not outrageously expensive). Other reviews mention the lack of a bathroom door, but I can't say that this bothered me too much!

The overall hotel was ok but I think it’s slightly over priced. When you arrive at the property it looks kinda run down. The reception area is ok and the back garden is actually beautiful so it’s kind of deceiving. The room was good except there’s no bathroom door just a curtain (very strange) and the window overlooking the sea was filthy. The room was clean but sort of outdated. Staff was friendly and nice. A few uncomfortable situations. First they run a free shuttle to town and back like twice a day but one time the driver didn’t show up or left before the scheduled time of 9pm. (a little disappointing). We took a cab from town to the hotel for about 40 rupiah but when we had to take a cab to down it cost 100 rupiah which is a bit expensive for a 5 minute ride. When I paid at reception they gave me a receipt to give to the driver (same person as free shuttle). The shuttle driver was confused and didn’t know why we were giving him a receipt. He just asked us to go (for free). The reception guy came over and spoke to him so it just seemed like they were getting one over on us. Lastly, we asked them to call us a cab for our excursion at 5:15 am but they forgot and we were late.

Not worth the money
What an absolute waste of money. If I hadn't received a deal I would not have gone. Some of the worst food I've ever tasted- breakfast was not good and the one time I tried dinner they kept me waiting over an hour and then brought the meat under cooked with the wrong side. I tried to use the spa after being told the therapist would be there after 2pm but 3pm the place was deserted and I was informed 'I will call her, if she answers I'll let you know'. Great. I tried to order a drink from the bar but was told because there was a group there they couldn't get me anything. In they end they sulked off to get me a drink after a few minutes of back and forth. The room is big but tired and luckily I was on my own because one curtain to cover the bathroom does not allow for much privacy. Dirty walls and threadbare towels- definitely not 4 star.

Adequate hotel for short stay
Some areas of the hotel need upgrading: pool tiles are chipped, some furniture is worn, however everywhere was kept very clean. Breakfast options were relatively limited compared to similar hotels. Staff were very pleasant and mostly efficient, but it seems as if there is pressure to up-sell wherever possible (eg upgraded room offered for a fee but then given for free when we said we were happy with a standard room) and costs for standard items inflated (eg taxi into town quoted at IR 200,000 when we had paid IR 50,000 at an adjacent hotel and the driver himself was happy to accept IR100,000.

Lovely hotel communal areas on lobby level, amazing and very clean pool area too. Not much in the area but the hotel does provide transport into the town centre. Restaurant does a good buffet as an alternative. Staff all very attentive. Our a/c broke and leaked water all over the room. They came to fix it and clean up straight away and couldn't have been more apologetic. Rooms are large and have an amazing view, but a little dated, lovely large shower though. 2 negatives - no WiFi in the rooms, only in the communal areas, and no bathroom door, just a curtain

I had read all of the reviews and was a bit concerned. But after experience this hotel it was fantastic. The food was good. The beach pool and atmosphere were lovely. There is a free shuttle into town 2x a day. Their is a curtain separating a bathroom but we did not seem to have any issues with this. It may not be a western 4 star standard but it’s a great place to stay. The staff was helpful and friendly!

Excellent view but need better cleaning
Excellent view of ocean but beachfront should be cleaned up by removing garbage. The suite room is spacious but should be more carefully cleaned. Dust was visible in the headboard and other furniture. Also, the hot water boiler appears to have a limited capacity. Water was hot at the beginning but after filling up the tub, became cold.

“Best in town” is a worry
This hotel is supposedly the best in town. Room was huge. No bathroom door, just a curtain......even in a close relationship there’s some things that shouldn’t be shared. Arrived early evening. Too far out of town so had dinner at the hotel. Banquet dinner. Everything was cold......supposed to be hot but I think they forgot to light the baine maries. Asked receptionist if she could ring us a taxi to get in to town the next morning. Response was ‘no’. We have transfers into town at 11am or 6pm otherwise it will be 100,000 rupiah ($10) for hotel driver to take you in to town. Transfer from airport by regulated taxi was 70,000 and the airport was further. Staff couldn’t speak good English, but that’s more our problem as we are in their country. The building is all concrete. The people above us seemed to be having a rugby match in steel boots day and night. When we asked reception if they could ask them to be a little more quiet we were told that they “were their friends and the noise would only be for another 30 minutes”. 11pm and they were still rearranging the furniture in the room by dragging it across the floor. There was some sort of ‘reception’ going on one night when we were not allowed into the pool bar.....umm we are paying guests???? Whilst the daily cleaning was immaculate, the walls were stained and dirty

Very nice hotel
The Jayakarta hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. Pool was beautiful and clean. Gardens around the pool were lovely. Room was large and clean. I was leaving early on a tour before breakfast and they had a box prepared for me. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

awful experience no accountability and they lost our reservation and tried to blame expedia even though I had confirmed email printed out. Unprofessional hotel staff and poor service. I will never travel to this hotel again.

Quality Hotel on the Ocean a little out of Town
took an inexpensive taxi booked at desk in airport which worked well. arrived late morning but early check-in no problem for friendly, efficient young lady receptionist. lobby open to elements and a pleasant breeze was flowing through to nearby open air pool. modern lift to good size room on 5th floor which had a wonderful view of the gardens and ocean. very efficient AC, furniture showed signs of wear, very comfy large bed with quality bedding, tea and coffee with kettle. drape to large bathroom with plenty of hot water. in the extensive garden there were plenty of loungers and beds round the pool with towels freely available. a path leads to a gate to the beach. hotel faces west so great sunsets both nights. hotel runs shuttle to town which is a few kilometres at 11am and 6pm(returning 9pm), so possible to dine in the main port area where there are several bars and restaurants. only 50,000 R by taxi anyway. good breakfast with lots of choice and I had lunch on the first day which was plentiful, tasty and good value. only complaint was that smoking was permitted almost everywhere, even the restaurant. wi fi only works in restaurant area. apart from this I recommend the property. By the way I took a trip to see the Komodo Dragon which was very expensive and a bit of a waste of time - the National Park is run down and, as you arrive at the hottest time of day, early afternoon, the animals are mostly asleep. The guides offered a " close up photo with Dragon" for 10,000R!!!

Best Place to Stay in Labuan Bajo
The grounds of the hotel is unbelievably beautiful. The hotel staff were great and the food delicious! Only reason why I did not give 5 stars was the room A/C did not work well. We explained to front desk and they sent a couple of repairmen who worked on it and seemed to work better but by the next night it was back to not working. We only stayed the two nights so they did not receive another chance to fix it. There were items on the menu not available and the cocktails were expensive and not good at all. Other then those small complaints we had a great stay. Hotel shuttles took care of our transport and front desk put us in contact with travel agent that set us up with private speed boat on a great tour to Komodo, pink beach and to swim with mantorays.

OK hotel for the price
the bathroom did not have a door. we were charged way, way too much for a roll away bed. the breakfast is not that good and there was a major problem with flies in and around the food, making it a bit unsanitary. the taxi / shuttle service was overpriced and also very slow. we waited a long time for our shuttles into town. the fitness center is unusable, the equipment was completely not usable and the air conditioning did not work either. also, the spa services were very poor. the pool is very well maintained and beautiful, that was the nicest part of the hotel.
