Matige kamer met verkeersgeluid.
De accommodatie is eenvoudig en smoezelig. De onze lag dicht bij route 60. In de vroege ochtend veel verkeerslawaai. Raam slaapkamer moest daarom dicht. Dus als je daar maar toe gaat vraag hut bij het meer. Uitzicht van ons was pover. Wifi lag er 2 dagen uit. Alleen bij de receptie mogelijk.

Hele mooie locatie, prachtig uitzicht. Vriendelijke service Kamer echt aan renovatie toe. Kapotte planken, kast erg stoffig. Bed ronduit slecht. Prijs kwaliteit echt niet in verhouding.

gedateerd en muffe kamers
De ligging is prachtig maar bij binnenkomst in het appartementje/kamer is het alsof je 50 jaar terug gaat in de tijd. Het rook er heel erg muf, vloerbedekking was niet meer zo netjes en de bedden en de bank waren erg oud. Gelukkig hadden wij hier maar 1 nacht geboekt. Jammer dat ze het een en ander niet opknappen want dan kunnen ze er wel iets van maken.

I loved that the property had a fenced in area for dogs, my dog loves playing fetch and it tired her out nicely. The cottage was a good size for 7 people, it didn’t feel too crowded. We had no issues and would definitely book again!

This is our favourite spot to go! We love the Mapleview rooms. Beautiful fireplace, view and pet friendly. The staff, especially Sherry, are awesome!!

Its very easy to be there! Check in and out and simple and easy. Its a quiet place in the winter ' which we love. Also love the enclosed dog park....huge bonus!!

It has all you need. The property is dated but functional. Parking is away. No power outlets to charge your phones.

Second time staying here (we went last winter as well). This cabin was nicer than the previous one (which was also nice as well). The cottage / cabin is rustic but very clean and comfortable. Very large windows that let in a lot of light. They had a Roku for the TV so we were able to watch Netflix, Disney and Prime movies at night. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows, which isn’t often the case in most hotels / resorts. They are pet friendly as well, which is a huge plus. We did some hiking nearby in Algonquin Park and had dinner in Huntsville, both of which are nearby. I’m sure it’s lovely in the summer, but if you’re looking for a nice, quiet and comfortable get away in the winter be sure to check it out.

2nd time to stay here. Everyone i expected. Last time was in Paradise this time in Honeymoon cabin. They bed in Honeymoon is very firm, a mattress pad to soften it up a bit would be a great idea.

Very lovely. Beautiful scenery. Cabin was clean and warm on arrival. Even though kitchen had things provided, it was very basic so bring your items to add to it

They stay was comfortable but I did not find the place clean. We found pet hair on all beddings. The place had a very weird smell when we first entered and we wished we had brought some candles or deodorizer with us. The shower was very difficult to turn on and figure out the hot water. There were only 2 mugs and 5 plates provided ! If I had know this I would have brought my own cutlery. We went to dollar store to get paper plates so we can enjoy meals at the cottage. The beds were comfortable which was good and that why I am give the 3 stars. We felt safe in the area and all amenities were close by. I would not return unless the cleanliness situation is improved. There was a note on the wall which stated that if the towel would have make up or dirt we will be charged. How can we use towels without making them dirty???

Hi ShabbirThank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. I am curious as to what has changed in your experience with us. You recently wrote a review on google stating that "cottage was very clean" and "Thank you Tally Ho for making our winter gateway a pleasant one at your cottage". Oddly now you have changed it to you shall not return because the cottage was unclean. It is very important to give an honest and accurate review incase there are issues that need to be resolved. To address the amounts we leave in the cabins, it depends on the max occupancy. Beaches is a max of 2 guests, so we leave 2 of everything in the kitchen (ex: 2 mugs, at least 2 plates, 2 of each utensil). We do have more in the office, all one needs to do is ask. If we put too much in the cabins, things tend to walk away. Last but not least, we understand guests will dirty the linens, that is expected and they are there for guest use. The notice is is regards to staining the towels beyond reuse (ex. red lipstick, wine, and blood). We hope to see you again. Have a wonderful day.

Pleasant stay. November. Quiet. Clean. Needed a 1 nite stay. The unit was simple and adequate. I need a good size parking spot because of my vehicle size and was upgraded to a nicer unit to stay in no charge. Very accommodating ownership. Will stay again.

Enjoyable stay
We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is well cared for and the service was timely and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the cottage was clean, and we enjoyed the fact that we qualified for and were given upgraded accommodation. We would go again.

Everything is clean and well taken care of. The room was nice for myself and my dog, clean and had everything I needed. I went in November so parking near my cabin wasn't too far but I could see parking being a real issue in the busier months.

Quiet setting & good value. Decor getting a bit old. Had a problem with heating but staff were quick to respond and resolve. V easy check in/out process. Comfy bed. Bath towels hilariously small.
