Lea Collins, the Guest Services Manager, was absolutely outstanding and compassionate when we had to cut our trip short due to illness. Be prepared to do some walking to get to the pools but other than that the resort is truly wonderful.'

'Loved the room, and having the Keurig right there was a bonus. Did not love the loud women having a conversation in the hall at 9:30 P.M. (one of whom may have been an employee, from what I could tell). Quiet time hours might be a good idea. I'm guessing I'm not the only one trying to get to sleep for an early hike in the morning.'

'Great breakfast with a fresh fruit salad! Very nicely refurbished rooms to mid-century style. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but still verry comfortable. Public area with a nice fire place. All in all a very nice motel!'

'The ATM could not display any $$. I went to the Sheraton across the street. Same for dinner. Carts at the entrance a mess. Asian driver loud and think he is funny… may be he is! Shuttle needs deep cleaning!!'

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'
