'We had a dreamy stay at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch! We really enjoyed slowing down and enjoying each other's company in a beautiful setting. 'The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...

'The hotel was okay. I would not choose to stay here again. The cultural activities were supposed to be good but we preferred seeing the island. Renting chairs for the beach was inconvenient and they don’t offer half day rentals just a flat $85 fee. The pool was cold, small and drab. The coffee and fridge are located in the bathroom which seemed unsanitary and was inconvenient when traveling with multiple people.
