'Onbereikbaar voor gewone auto. 4 wheeldrive nodig. Twintig dollar per shuttle. Geen warmwater douche. Geen opbergruimte kleding. Geen ophanghaakjes. Wel erg basic. Ongeschikt voor ouderen en gehandicapten. Moeilijk communiceren in het Engels.'

'Location & Property: The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Puerto Viejo, on the road towards La Fortuna. The property is very pleasant and well maintained, with the rooms spread across different cabins connected by paths. The setting feels peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy the jungle.

'Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....
