'Balcony - Lg room'

'Rooms were clean, Private bath. Shared kitchen and living room which made for great company and the meeting of new friends. Met one couple at 7pm and chatted until after midnight. Not much in area for restaurants but you have use of the kitchen to reheat, cook or store food. Beautiful river on one side and the train line on the other. Ear plugs provided if you don't like the sounds of trains or you can watch the 103 cars go by. An interesting find with easy access after property provided...

'It was a very nice private area. When we got there, it was dark so we had to kind of figure out where we were headed. We stayed in the Pine Lodge. The room was decorated really cute and it was exceptionally clean. My wife said that it’s one of her favorite places that we’ve ever stayed. We met the owners the morning. We were checking out and they were so nice. We would definitely go back there again.'

'Clean room breakfast good'

'Very clean with good personnel.'

'Arrived late at night with our tree kids. Front desk guy said he could not find our reservation which we made and prepaid on Expedia. Made us wait while he checked In other guests. Then said he could not accept the reservation confirmation on my phone and that the Expedia confirmation number meant nothing to him. At this point my husband called Expedia on his cell phone and discovered that the reservation was indeed valid and under his name not mine. Front desk guy then revealed that he had this...

'Wendy was so nice and helpful. We were staying in the guesthouse, so she met us out front even though we arrived late. That was a very nice touch. She cooked breakfast for us early the first day because we had to be somewhere and would otherwise miss the regular time. Her breakfasts were delicious! She gave us good restaurant recommendations, and was helpful all around. The Suite was clean and comfortable.'

'The people here were nice. Unfortunately the place is run down and smelled of smoke everywhere. For the price I expected much better.'
