'I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC.
The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

'Peaceful, friendly down-home vibe unlike any other. Homey, safe, family feel in every way. Love what the ‘new’ owners are doing to improve and honor the traditions of this very historic retreat. I came here first as a child, before the old hotel burned, and have known it through the decades. We will be back! Thank you, Sandy and partners! 💙'

'It was a mostly clean room. My only complaint was the floors were not swept or cleaned, but I did not complain and ask them to come sweep, which I am sure they would have. I killed at least 10 flies, but the cleaners usually leave the door open while cleaning them. '

'We had a very nice visit. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were lovely. Although the buildings are not new, they are in good shape. They are flexible about which rooms to stay in.
