'The hosts were amazing. The toaster stopped working and they had a new one to us within hours. There is no wifi, which wasn't great for our purposes as we were househunting. However, the quaint setting made it worth it. Recommend.'

'We were there for my son’s wedding. 14 of us had plenty of room and beds. Absolutely the perfect location, walkable to the Kitchen Kettle Village and restaurants. We could sit on the porch and watch buggies go by. I would suggest leaving a bundle of firewood and matches. Took us 4 days to find any for sale. Will definitely be back!'

'A group of friends go away together every MLK weekend. We're pretty picky about the place we stay in, as we need enough beds for 9-10 women, a good number of bathrooms, a big living room for us to all gather in, a large table to eat at and craft on, and a kitchen big enough for us to cook various meals. This house fit the bill, and we had a lovely stay. All communication was prompt, we were allowed to check out 2 hours later because of the snow, and we even got some fresh eggs delivered to us...

"We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement. "
