'The accommodations were fine and access to the property was easy. It’s located some distance to restaurants and grocery shopping, but not an inconvenience. One issue we did have was access to the dock. We were lead to believe that it was a part of the property itself even though it was across from a somewhat busy road. We only learned of not having access to it only upon reading rules of the house. Fortunately, we didn’t need the dock, but it would have been nice to see the bay close up.'

'This property was the best stocked property we have ever rented. Kitchen, bathroom, linens, everything. Owner is available and very kind but gives privacy. House is cozy, quiet, very private with Great Lake views. Beach and dock we could not get enough of. We can’t wait to return and try all four seasons here.'

'We had a fantastic time at this cottage!! Love how peaceful and secluded it is. After a day at the beach we came back to the cottage and put some Fleetwood Mac on the record player ( all provided!). Great memories for sure! This area of Michigan is just lovely. Can't wait for next summer! Thank You, Cottage in the woods!'

'We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect for our family of 9 and our fur baby. The house was stocked up with EVERYTHING we needed and more. We were super impressed with everything it offered. It was a great location and close to all the fun things we wanted to do, Sleeping bear dunes, Glen Arbor, yummy restaurants and Fishtown. Good Harbor beach and Van beach were our favorites!! We made a lot of great memories and we’ll definitely be back!'
