'Very close to Rutland water. Loads to do at Rutland. Rural location only accessable by car. The owner kindly let us charge the car at the house (we worked out and paid for the electricity used). I was pleased to find there is a freezer in the kitchen. There were lots of kitchen utensils which made cooking easy.'

'Absolutely perfect. Instructions are very clear , place was pristine . I was surprised at the size of the property as I thought it would be smaller . Good size bedroom,kitchen, living space and even the bathrooms was good with a rainfall shower and normal wand (I’m 6ft4 so that makes a difference ) very handy and detailed handbook helping you with any questions or queries. Communication was excellent from the host. Really pleased with my overall experience '

'The Old Postoffice is echt fantastisch! Het is een prachtig, met zorg opgeknapt en gezellig "echt Engels" ingericht huisje dat van alle gemakken voorzien is (alleen geen vaatwasser). De eigenaars wonen er naast en zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt tijdens je verblijf, je voelt je echt welkom. Vooral ook zeer schoon! Een echte aanrader.'

Particularly loved the tasteful furnishings and beautiful Sophie Allport crockery and small appliances. Cover on front bed filthy. Toilet seat not attached correctly. No logs provided for log burner or tools. Welcome pack not as advertised no wine no milk no eggs no crisps small loaf. 'Lovely welcome, big comfortable warm room in a fine old building. No fridge, which seemed odd. There was a kitchen area with microwave after all. But that was the only (small) issue. We enjoyed our two nights there very much. The cooked breakfast was really good and we liked the bar on the ground floor.
