'Clean, cozy spot to get away. Hosts are responsive and helpful. I would definitely take their suggestion #14 on their welcome letter to the hiking trail and all the food suggestions are on par (with many walkable from cottage). This may turn into a yearly destination for us.'

'The home is very tastefully decorated, extremely clean and the setting was idyllic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our weekend. The layout of the house was perfect. The covered deck was like an additional living room for us. Be sure to bring water shoes for the lake. It's nice and shallow at the house but the rocks are plentiful and slippery.'

'We had a lovely stay! The house is new and comfortable with great finishes. It is well designed with big windows all along the back of the house, so no matter where you are it feels like you’re at the beach. The location is kind of funny with the gas station and casino somewhat visible from the front driveway, but when you’re in the house or out on the patio you can’t tell.'

'We grew up in the area and were looking for a local stay for a family wedding. It was a perfect set up for our family. We had 3 families at the house from 13 yrs to adult. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were ample towels and bedding for all of us. Check in was easy and they were responsive to all our questions. A perfect set up for our weekend.'

It is also close to town and all the outdoor activities you want and short trip to Traverse City. Everything we needed and expected was provided. We can highly recommend this house for your stay.'

The only complaint I have as far as cleanliness was the amount of dog hair that was on the couch/living area. Otherwise it’s a great location right next to downtown! I would recommend.'

Even though it was 15 degrees outside, there is a breakfast nook in the kitchen with a full view of the bay, and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view. One thing to note is that the bed was quite stiff, which we didn't like.'
