'My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. The bathroom was small but perfectly usable with a decent, electric, shower. Upstairs was the bedroom with good storage facilities and a comfortable double bed...

'We had a lovely break at Cheviot View. Lovely quiet location, excellent views. Owners Were perfect hosts. The only thing that was really missed was a dishwasher!! Apart from that, a good choice of cottage.'

'Beautiful house, lots of extras like air fryer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and even spare dog towel. Could just do with blind in ensuite. Location was brilliant two minute walk from prom/beach. T.v signal was bit hit and miss but we were out most of time in sunshine.'

'Property is well located and beds are comfy. It was very cold in the property when we arrived as the thermostat had been turned to 10 degrees and there were no matches to light the fire. The whole property felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.....walls marked, some mirrors cracked, doors & handles chipped, kitchen equipment mismatched and well used, some kitchen equipment broken, dining room chair broken and not usable. The shower has a slanted roof so not ideal as you have to duck to prevent...

'This is a smashing 2 bedroomed flat, tastefully decorated and with everything at hand for a very comfortable stay. The property has its own parking space in a yard at the back with a rickety path down to a fast flowing stream of water attractive and dangerous to my Spaniel.... The only inconvenience was the walk down the road to a place suitable for my Dog to do his business. Other than that it's a winner.'

'Great apartment right in the town centre. Spacious living space and everything you need for a home from home experience. As the flat is high up you get great views out towards the castle and the roof windows give great views of the stars on a clear night.'

'Perfectly placed, rented a few places around the area this one is the best one yet, the only thing we found was a whiff in the bathroom due to the soil pipe vent been in the bathroom, no idea why?. Still this hasn’t put us off, already booked for October.'
