'We hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht in dit huis. De beide open haarden waren aan bij aankomst, dus het huis heerlijk warm en welkom. Het uitzicht is geweldig en elke avond genieten terwijl genietend van een drankje. Prima uitvalsbasis voor dit gedeelte van Ierland, voor herhaling vatbaar. We komen graag nog eens terug'

'Eileen begrijpt wat hospitality is. Is er als het nodig is, als je het vraagt. Prachtig gelegen comfortabel huis. De omgeving is adembenemend mooi. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt.'

Voor ons stadsmensen ook een leuke ervaring zijn alle dieren in de omgeving en het openen/ sluiten van de hekken om schapen binnen en/of buiten te houden. 'Great location for a drive around Connemara, a visit to the Aran Islands and a day to Dog's Bay. One of the highlights was a close encounter with 3 cuckoos fighting over territory or a female. They called and circled for about an hour over the house. '

'Nestled into the rocks on the edge of the Atlantic, Doleen Quay House is an absolute treasure. The home and the furnishings are gorgeous, drawing inspiration from the ocean and the shoreline. The layout of the house was well suited for our family group of six adults, with four suites situated in the outer wings, connected by sunrooms to the main living space. 'Taylor's Point is a stunningly equipped and elegant country stay. The combined spaces of the external covered patio, the conservatory and the dining room/kitchen make a nice cosy family space for us to be together. Many lovely places to visit. The checkin procedure was in the end fine, the keyholder sent us a video of the house he had just made. We could have done with some written instructions for the TV (strange satellite system, no obvious channels) and the stove (had to look it up on...
